90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 introduced viewers to four new couples: James and Meitalia, Josh and Lilly, Joanne and Sean, and Corona and Ingi. Couples from the previous season, Statler and Dempsey, along with Shekinah and Sarper, also returned as cast members on the TLC show.
The upcoming season 6 episode 18, set to air this week, will give a glimpse into James and Meitalia's wedding as the duo will tie the knot for the second time. In a first-look clip obtained by People Magazine on October 25, 2024, James' reaction to the wedding festivities and Meitalia's culture can be seen.
During the Javanese traditional dance, James was impressed by the talented singers, dancers, and performances. He said:

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 6 episode 18 first look shows James and Meitalia’s wedding
In the exclusive clip, James and Meitalia can be seen enjoying the musical and dance experience. As fans already know, the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way couple were married for two and a half years. However, after James visited Indonesia, he proposed to Meitalia for the second time.
This week's episode will give a detailed overview of their Javanese wedding ceremony. Meitalia explained what their cultural celebration was called. She said:
"Our entertainment tonight is called a Sintren. It's our cultural, Javanese tradition."
After seeing the dance performance, James was impressed by the "unique sound" of the Indonesian orchestra. Apart from singing, their wedding ceremony also incorporates different cultural dances, including one called Bidadari. The 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way cast member described the performers' voice as "out of this world." While praising the talent of the singers and the orchestra, he said:
"It is a very unique sound, to say the least. I don't even know how to do it but they're hitting tones with their voices that are just like out of this world. And I'm not sure the tones are necessarily supposed to have ever been hit by humankind, but it's special."
However, James expressed concerns about a dance in which a girl was put "in a cage" and then "transforms" after smoke erupted. He explained the dance stating:
"And then apparently, they take a virgin girl, put her in a cage after tying her up, and then there's a lot, a lot of smoke. And then she transforms or changes outfits inside the cage. And she dances around in a trance while being possessed by an angel."
