The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 follows a similar pattern to the hit reality TV series franchise. In this show, six couples are introduced, and out of each pair, one of the contestants gives an ultimatum to marry their partner. Throughout the show, the pairs part ways to be in a trial marriage with their fellow cast members.

On The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 6, Sandy shared that she was glad to spend time with J.R. Now that their trial marriage is about to end, Sandy stated she wanted to "end on a good note." Reflecting on her trial marriage experience, she pointed out it was difficult for her to manage the Nick drama as well as being there for J.R.
"we've had such a great time together and especially leading up to, like the last day or two that we have here, I want nothing but us to just have fun, end on a good note, you know?" she said.
J.R. praised Sandy for handling everything well and that she did a "great job" being part of this experience. He expressed his respect for Sandy calling her an "amazing woman." The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On cast member continued:
"You're doing a great job, I'm passionate about what I say sometimes. That's it like, I respect you a lot. I want to always build you up and give you compliments and praise you, because you're an amazing woman at the end of the day. Guys Night, all I did was praise you, and Nick hated it."
Later in the episode, Sandy told the cameras she and J.R. were connected emotionally. As they both were about to return to their original partners respectively, Sandy shared she was nervous about what the future holds with her relationship with Nick. J.R. also expressed nervousness about meeting Zaina, and her trial marriage with Scotty.
