Mia Thorton opens up about her relationship with Gordon in The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 1
In The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 1, Thorton revealed that Gordon had moved out and was living in a separate apartment. Mia clarified that she needed Gordon's involvement in her children's lives as a father and to be there for him regardless of how their relationship ended.
During the previous season finale, Gordon accused Mia of having an affair with Incognito, while she was committed to him. However, Mia denied this allegation multiple times, as well as during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen back in March 2024.
Gordon and Mia met each other with their kids 9-year-old Jeremiah and 7-year-old Juliana, during The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 1. Mia said she gave her hundred percent to make their relationship to which Gordon disagreed, he accused Mia of "run(ning) to someone else" rather than "just separating." Gordon continued:
“I feel like you gave a lot, but I don’t think you went the last step … the last step is just separate, and not run to someone else."
Later in the episode, Gordon apologized for his behavior, he said:
"I was mean to you. I admit it. Please hear me. I regret it."
Other cast members, including Jacqueline Blake, chimed in on Mia's marriage stating she was in a "business partnership" rather than a relationship. Karen also agreed, she said:
“It’s gotta be more than business — you gave birth.”
Mia, however, mentioned the happiness of her kids was the only thing important to her. The upcoming episodes will give further details of Mia and her current boyfriend's living situation.
