The new season of Rhythm + Flow unfolds over 3 weeks, with the first four episodes debuting on November 20, the next installment of 3 episodes on November 27, and the final installment on December 4, where contestants will battle it out for the coveted title and a grand prize of $250,000.
Hosted in Atlanta, one of hip-hop’s hottest scenes, the show promises an intense lineup of high-stakes challenges designed to uncover real talent, demanding more than just lyrical skill but the rare “it” factor that makes a true star.

Contestants react on Instagram to joining Rhythm + Flow season 2
Excitement has been building among the contestants for season 2 of Rhythm + Flow, with many of them taking to Instagram to express their emotions and gratitude. Jay Taj posted a heartfelt message, reflecting on how he had long envisioned this moment:
“I want the ppl that love me and support me to be like: ‘I always knew’… I didn’t know that it would actually happen... The only feelin I feel is gratitude. God is good.”
Similarly, LG shared her excitement, posting, “I’m stepping up alongside incredible talent from across the country to prove I have what it takes to become hip-hop’s next star.” She expressed how eager she is for fans to watch the show.
Rhome kept it simple, writing, “The spirit moves. Nov. 20th,” while Tony Da Kidd, wrote, “Praises going up and blessings coming down!” He urged fans to tune in on November 20 to witness his journey.

The season will also feature a star-studded array of special guest judges, including Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Big Sean, Remy Ma, Royce Da 5’9", and DJ Holiday, who will spin for the initial auditions, with DJ Moe Beats stepping in during the battle rounds. Senior battle rapper SMACK will host the show, adding authenticity and intensity to the competition.
As a co-executive producer of the series, Dionne Harmon shared with Netflix Tudum on November 2, the goal is to show what goes into making a hip-hop star, highlighting the artistry, grit, and stage presence that define true staying power. Harmon added:
“It truly is an art form that allows people to express themselves when they often don’t feel like they have another outlet. So I think it’s important that hip-hop has its own space in music competition shows too,”
