Episode 9 of Love & Hip Hop: Miami season 6 aired on January 13, 2025, on VH1. In the latest episode, Princess Love opened up about the confrontation she had with Amara La Negra. Reflecting on the altercation, Princess shared:

"I thought about it for a second. I'm like, should I slap this b*tch?... Yeah... It feels like the right thing to do."

Their conflict revolved around Amara's decision to work with Princess's husband, Ray J, on a movie project. Due to this, Princess thought that Amara had crossed the line in their friendship. As tensions ran high, the meeting quickly spiraled out of control, culminating in a physical fight at Estelita Quintero's event on Love & Hip Hop: Miami.

The confrontation between Princess and Amara

In episode 9 of Love & Hip Hop: Miami season 6, titled Sound & Fury, Estelita Quintero hosted an event that brought together both Princess Love and Amara La Negra, despite their ongoing tensions. The situation quickly escalated when Princess confronted Amara about her involvement with Princess’s husband, Ray J, after Amara accepted an offer to star in a movie Ray J was producing.

Princess was informed about Amara's meeting with Ray J through a text message. This made her feel that something else must have happened between them. Amara assured Princess that nothing inappropriate had happened, but the latter remained unconvinced. Amara said:

“I had nothing to tell you before it happened. Because after it happened, and that's when I can tell you about 'This occurred.' And [if] nothing happened then what would I tell you?"

Despite Amara's assurances, Princess believed she was being dishonest and called her a "fake as* b*tch" before slapping her.

Princess reflects on the situation

In a conversation with fellow Love & Hip Hop: Miami season 6 cast Bobby, Princess offered further insight into her perspective on the events. She explained:

“So I get a text message from Amara. She says she met up with Ray. I mean, the fact that she told me after is a red flag.”

Princess believed that Amara's delay in revealing the meeting to her was one of the reasons she felt betrayed. According to Princess, she did not expect Amara, who she considered a friend, to do something she perceived as inappropriate, especially considering her relationship with Ray J.

Princess told Bobby:

"She's one of the few people out here that I considered my friend, so for her to basically tell me you know what it is with us, and it's like, no, I don't know what it is, but since you're telling me what it is, let me let you know."

Moving forward

Although the argument was quite heated, Princess said she wanted to clear up the situation for her peace of mind. She shared with Bobby that she had been dealing with a lot in her personal life, especially with Ray J. She further said:

"I've already been going through a lot with me and Ray. I've just been, like, holding everything in," Princess explained, acknowledging her struggle to trust people she thought were friends.

As the Love & Hip Hop: Miami episode was coming to an end, Princess reflected on the events that happened and stated she would get closure on that. She was going to call Ray J later to "get to the bottom of it," and move forward.
