Too Hot to Handle season 6 aired on July 19, 2024, exclusively on Netflix. The dating reality show introduced the retreat guests as well as the AI assistant Lana, who will be setting the rules for them. The contestants would have to abide by Lana's rules, or money would be deducted from the quarter of a million-dollar prize fund.

By episode 7, the cast had failed to form genuine, deeper connections and had broken multiple rules. Out of all the retreat guests, Charlie and Katherine's actions decreased the prize fund by more than half. Their kiss cost the group another $6000, which upset their fellow cast members.

It is worth noting that Charlie and Katherine were pursuing relationships with Lucy and Louis, respectively. While Louis managed to move on with Gianna, Charlie's actions had hurt Lucy, and she was harboring some pain.

When Charlie refused to apologize for taking money from the prize fund, his former partner called him out on his behavior. Charlie also implied that the others should have thanked him for "not doing more," as it was "just a kiss." When Lucy heard Charlie's statements in episode 7, she called him disrespectful.

"It's just rude and disrespectful to say 'you're welcome'," Lucy said.

Too Hot to Handle season 6 episode 7, titled A 99.7% Chance of Trouble, was released exclusively on Netflix on Friday, July 26, 2024. The episode synopsis reads:

"Lana offers a warning to the group — and promises punishment for anyone who ignores her. Meanwhile, her duplicitous double is making up her own rules."

Katherine and Charlie's kiss cost $6000 on Too Hot to Handle season 6 episode 7

On Too Hot To Handle season 6 episode 7, Lana revealed that some contestants had breached her rules. When she asked the couple to come forward and admit their mistake, Charlie was the first one to speak up.

He told the cast members that there was no "green light" to kiss, but he and Katherine had broken the rule, regardless. Without apologizing for his actions, the Too Hot to Handle cast member stated that they "had to get it out of our system."

"Obviously we didn't get a green light, but we had to get it out of our system. Mate, I was holding myself back from doing so much more. So, really, you're welcome for not doing more," Charlie said.

Christian, Demari, and Bri were quick to call out Charlie for his statements. Christian even asked him to "own up" to his actions and not act immaturely in front of the others. However, Charlie continued defending himself and explaining his selfish move. The Too Hot to Handle star said that he didn't regret or feel sorry for kissing Katherine.

"Everyone is getting on to me. I spent six grand since the day I came back. I'm not gonna sit here and say 'Oh I regret' or 'Oh I'm so sorry'. Because I don't," he added.

Katherine tried to do some damage control by apologizing on her and Charlie's behalf. She admitted to forgetting Lana's rules and following the regulations that each retreat guest has to follow.

Fans can stream the first seven episodes of Too Hot to Handle season 6 exclusively on Netflix. Episodes 8 and 9 are set to be released on Friday, August 2, 2024. The upcoming episode teasers, clips, sneak peeks, and previews are available on Netflix and Too Hot to Handle's official Instagram accounts.
