RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 9 has quickly progressed and features eight drag queens from previous seasons. This season includes Angeria Paris, VanMichaels, Gottmik, Jorgeous, Nina West, Plastique Tiara, Roxxxy Andrews, Shannel, and Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. The remaining queens are competing for the grand prize of $200,000 provided by the Palette Fund.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 9 episode 5 started with drama and confrontation between Roxxxy, Vanjie, and Angeria. Roxxxy considered her move a "payback." Meanwhile, when Shannel brought up a secret alliance between her, Angeria, and Nina, all three queens denied that possibility.
To dissolve some tension between the cast members, Ru gave a mini-challenge to the queens to dance with Teletubbies as partners. As Gottmik was the most involved and interactive among the selected contestants, Vanjie and Angeria, Ru donated $2500 to her charity.
However, in RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 9 episode 5, the main task was divided into teams. Each team had to use their talents for a unique real estate commercial advertisement.
Ru gave Angeria the responsibility of choosing pairs, and Angeria selected Vanjie as her partner. Then she teamed up Jorgeous and Gottmik, Shannel and Nina, and Roxxxy and Plastique.

This was a different challenge than usually what viewers see on the show; despite each contestant struggling to perfect their lines and bring a new twist to their performance, every team gave their best.
After each team performed on the RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars stage, Ru announced that this week's All-Stars were Roxxxy and Plastique. They competed with each other in a lip-syncing battle on Super Freaky Girl by Nicki Minaj. Ru announced Roxxxy was the winner, and she was given a $10,000 donation to her charity, Miracle of Love.
The two queens, Roxxy and Ruby Snippers, had the Beautiful Benefactress Badges, and they had to block someone. Roxxy didn't want to go for Angeria once again, so she chose Gottmik. Roxxy started to cry upon making this decision, and Gottmik comforted her during this situation.
