Love Island Australia season 6 aired episode 23 on December 4, 2024, on 9Now. In the latest episode, a segment called Movie Night fueled the tension between the girls. Hannah and Kaylah's circle and the trio of Mimi, Em, and Sophie grew further apart after hearing what they said about each other behind their backs.

One of the clips featured Kaylah calling Em a "witch," referring to the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. While Kaylah tried to offer an explanation for the comment, Em didn't want one. Mimi stepped in for her friend's help and confronted Kaylah and Hannah on the "witch" remark.

"What's this witch comment? Don't say it behind our back, say it to my face," Mimi said.

Love Island Australia's Movie Night fuels tensions between Hannah & Kaylah and Mimi, Em, & Sophie

Love Island Australia season 6 episode 23 showcased part one of the Movie Night. One of the featured films, titled Mean Girls, depicted the drama between two groups: Hannah and Kaylah's circle and the trio of Mimi, Em, and Sophie.

The clips revealed what the groups had been secretly saying about each other, sparking tension among the Islanders. In one of the clips, Kaylah and Hannah were discussing about Em. In the conversation, Kaylah questioned why Em seemed so negative around her, while Hannah chimed in, describing Em as a "rain cloud."

Kaylah further described Em as the "Wicked Witch of the West". The Love Island Australia season 6 contestant added:

"It's giving Wizard of Oz."

After watching the clip during the Movie Night, Sophie asked Kaylah, who she believed was the "good witch" and "bad witch" according to her. She answered that her friend Hannah was a "good witch," while Em was the "bad witch".

In a later clip, the Love Island Australia duo discussed Mimi and questioned why she seemed to dislike both of them. Hannah speculated that Mimi viewed her as a "chameleon."

"For some reason, these days, it's almost like, yeah, you're a boss b*tch if you're a neg f*ck. Like if you're neg, she's a boss b*tch, like, "I am a woman of worth". And it's like, just chill the f*ck out sometimes," Kaylah added.

Hannah responded that Mimi was probably upset because she wasn't adaptable and that she couldn't change who she was. Kaylah agreed that the Love Island Australia star couldn't change and asserted that it was because she and Em were "insecure."

Mimi was quick to react to the comment and told the duo that those who label others as insecure are often insecure themselves. She added that while both groups talked behind each other’s backs, her group had owned up to their words, whereas the duo had not.

The Love Island Australia star confronted the two on their "witch" and "insecure" comments. Hannah tried to defend herself and pointed out that everyone had said things about each other. However, Mimi reminded her that she brought her issue to her face and suggested her of doing the same.

"It's like, babe this is the exact reason. And you're like, "Oh no, but we want to be friends. But, but, but, but what?" Mimi continued.

While Hannah didn't share the reason behind her remarks, she accused Mimi of starting a confrontation for the sake of "screen time." However, Mimi quipped that she didn't need any, as she wasn't the one who was eliminated.

"I actually don't like name calling, so I'll hold myself accountable and say I'm sorry. was just trying to say that like, why do you have to feel the need to be negative over nothing? I feel like a lot of molehills were made into mountains in situations... To do with Tay and Han," Kaylah explained.

Love Island Australia season 6 episodes are released every Monday to Thursday on 9Now.
