Love & Hip Hop: Miami's Brooke wants Marcus to counsel Shay
When Amara asked Brooke about her plans, she admitted to feeling uncertain about how she would balance her pregnancy with her professional responsibilities. However, she was determined to take things one day at a time and focus on getting as much work done as possible.
In a confessional, Brooke expressed her appreciation for her partner Marcus's ambitious personality but also shared that she sometimes felt overwhelmed by his intensity and needed space to breathe.
"I appreciate my man's drive, but sometimes I just need room to breathe, because Marcus can be a lot," stated Brooke.
Later, in a conversation with Amara, Brooke appeared to be going along with Marcus's plans but then sought advice on how to navigate a situation involving her partner's tendency to offer guidance to others. Brooke explained that Marcus could help her friend, Shay, who was seeking advice on her relationship. However, Marcus seemed taken aback by this development.
Brooke admitted that she might have made a mistake by involving Marcus in Shay's relationship issues, but was determined to see the situation play out. The Love & Hip Hop: Miami star acknowledged that it would be a test of Marcus's abilities as a relationship advisor.
Brooke reminded Marcus that Shay and Fabo had a child together, emphasizing the importance of helping them. However, Amara interjected, sharing a rumor that Fabo might be expecting a child with Zoey's sister. Marcus excused himself, stating that it was time to eliminate toxic influences from his life.
Amara and Brooke continued their conversation, discussing the complexities of relationships. Amara referenced a past argument with Flo, recalling how Flo's partner had flirted with her and later attempted to verify Amara's claims by showing up at her workplace with cake and flowers.
Later in the episode of Love & Hip Hop: Miami, Amara shared that she had recently experienced car trouble and had called Flo's partner, Marlon, for help. Despite their past differences, Marlon had assisted Amara and even offered to teach her how to swim.
"So, when I get into my car, my car doesn't turn on, and I'm over here, desperate as hell. I called Marlon. I'm not gonna lie. I thought this would be the best petty revenge," stated Amara.
Brooke cautioned Amara that if Flo were to discover that Amara and Marlon had been in contact, she would likely become enraged. Amara confessed on Love & Hip Hop: Miami that she had considered taking her revenge to the next level by pursuing a romantic relationship with Marlon.
