Big Brother season 26 entered week 7 with episode 22, which was released on Sunday, September 1. The episode saw Quinn winning the Head of the Household competition and bagging the coveted title for the second time. He nominated Kimo, Rubina, and Angela to be on the Block.
However, the Live Feeds section, which was streamed on Paramount+ on Saturday, gave out Leah's Power of Veto win. The same Live Feeds streamed on Monday saw her using her Veto to save her closest ally, Angela.
With that, Angela became the only person in the Big Brother household to get the Veto used on her, without ever winning it herself. Joseph was nominated in her place. She was saved the first time by Tucker after he won the Veto comp; while he chose to remain on the Block himself, relying on AI Arena to save himself.
Fans of Big Brother are now taking to X to react to Angela's save. They are discussing further possible tactics of the houseguests and the way each one felt after Leah made the move.
"Big Ang has gotten the veto used on her for the SECOND time this season. What a legend! Will she randomly decide to flip on Leah in the future tho..? Stay tuned!" a fan said.
"Angela is doing something right in the game. The only player not to win the veto and be removed twice from the block," said another.
"If people keep using the veto on Angela every other week then I'm sorry but I fear she has winner potential!" said a third fan.
"Queen of having the veto used on her," wrote another.
Many Big Brother fans also flocked to the platform with tweets about the further strategy and potential outcomes of the decision.
"Joseph telling Angela he doesn’t feel “super good” about Quinn right now, Leah successfully drove a wedge between them by using that veto," a comment read.
"If so many ppl weren’t simps Leah using the veto how she did should be a huge red flag. Not even that she used it, but that she literally blindsided the hoh, her close ally. lmao you’d think that would start a discussion over whether you’re a reliable ally," read another comment.
"Didn't he[Joseph] say something real nasty to her a couple days ago?? That's the problem folks get ENTIRELY too comfortable. Nothing is official until AFTER the veto ceremony/A.I. Comp. Now he's lost a vote," an X user wrote.
"NO WAY LEAH USED THE VETO TO SAVE ANGELA. I am a kid in a damn candy store right now I am so serious. This season legit takes the cake for best pre-jury phase of all time and that's NOT recency bias (in my teensy old opinion)," wrote another X user.
Angela's dynamics with the houseguests in the Big Brother season 26 house
Leah said from the start that Angela was her biggest Ally in the Big Brother house and that she would save her, but according to Quinn, because Leah was affiliated with him, Angela could put her on the Block if she was saved. This was because she wanted Quinn to go home.
Angela is a part of only one alliance of the several alliances of the house because, at the beginning of the season, her paranoia made her switch alliances, which resulted in many people losing trust in her. As such, it's increasingly difficult to tell who might come for her when it's her time to get voted.
However, if she wins the HoH, she is likely to go after T'kor, Kimo, and Rubina's alliance because they're the strongest of them all. She could go after Joseph because, during the last Live Feeds, he told her she wasn't integral enough in the game to be saved. She could also go after Quinn because their differences go back to the beginning of Big Brother.
