The episode also marked the return of Selena Johnson, who stepped into a central role within the Collective, sparking fresh rivalries and heated interactions, especially with So Gucci.

Meanwhile, Tambra Cherie shared her experience as a new mother, adding another emotional dimension to the reunion. An unexpected guest also brought unresolved issues to the forefront, further stirring the group dynamics.

Belle Collective: Carlos King talks to So Gucci

During the Belle Collective reunion, host Carlos King facilitated a candid conversation with So Gucci about her daughter Dee’s mental health challenges. Dee had recently experienced a significant crisis, which prompted her to share her feelings of being overshadowed by her mother’s focus on her stepfather, JJ. So Gucci admitted,

“I didn’t realize that she needed me more now than she needed me then.”

Sophia “So Gucci” Williams shared that her daughter initially felt hesitant about opening up about her mental health journey but believed that sharing her story would help many others in similar situations. Carlos drew parallels to Marie Hamilton-Abston’s past struggles with mental health, prompting Marie to offer advice to So Gucci.

“Listen to her, be there for her, and let her know that she’s not alone. It’s okay to not be okay.”

Marie emphasized patience and presence as essential tools for recovery. So Gucci shared her efforts to break the generational stigma around seeking professional help, saying,

“I grew up, you know, my dad telling me if you go see somebody, you crazy… I’m trying to break that curse.”

Marie emphasized that mental health should be treated with the same priority as physical health, stating,

“Just like we go to the doctor and check on our bodies, we have to check on our mind too. It’s okay not to be okay. Depression, anxiety, being stressed out, all of those things fall up under mental health.”

She recounted waking up in the ICU and facing separation from her baby, which left a lasting emotional impact.

Tambra shared, reflecting on how societal expectations often overlook the mental well-being of mothers. Adding another layer of intrigue, the episode featured an unexpected guest who came to address unresolved issues. This surprise appearance forced the cast members to confront their pasts and examine the evolving dynamics within the group.
