Netflix's real estate reality show Selling Sunset released all 11 episodes of season 8 on Friday, September 6, 2024. The show follows real estate agents from the Los Angeles brokerage, The Oppenheim Group. It shows how the agents manage their luxury property sales while balancing their personal and professional lives.

The cast members for season 8 of Selling Sunset include Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Amanza Smith, Chelsea Lazkani, Bre Tiesi, and Nicole Young. The Oppenheim Group's owners, Brett and Jason Oppenheim, will also feature on the show, along with Alanna Gold, a new agent.

The previous seasons of Selling Sunset have seen a lot of drama and feuds between the agents, and season 8 was no different. However, several notable scenes were reportedly left out of the final versions of the episodes. Chrishell Stause, one of the OG cast members, took to social media on Friday to reveal that some of the significant scenes from the show were left out.

Following the release of the new season on Netflix, Chrishell posted a few scenes that were filmed but weren't a part of the Selling Sunset season 8 final edit. These included famous contacts and personal chats along with outings that fans didn't get to see.

This article will take a look at the scenes that were reportedly cut from Selling Sunset season 8, based on Chrishell Stause's Instagram posts.

Cut scenes in Selling Sunset season 8

1) Chrishell Stause spends a day with Tinashe

One of the significant plotlines that fans didn't see in season 8 was Chrishell Stause spending the day with singer Tinashe. While the scenes were filmed, they didn't make it to the season's final edits.

Stause posted a series of Instagram images of herself with Tinashe and co-stars Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, and Mary Bonnet. Stause commented on the omission in her Instagram caption, stating that since the "days of filming didn't make it into season 8," she could post them.

"These days of filming didn't make it into season 8 of #SellingSunset, so I can post them now. Thank you @tinashenow for being amazing! Happy to help you anytime again. Was sad it wasn't included," the reality star wrote.

The carousel images that Chrishell shared on Instagram also featured a picture of herself with her partner, G Flip.

2) G Flip and Chrishell's family plans

Another important scene that did not make it to air was a personal conversation between Chrishell Stause and G Flip about their family plans. Stause revealed that the Australian musician opened up about their future during filming and that they expected the conversation to be a part of season 8. However, the heartfelt discussion was left out of the final version of the episodes.

Stause expressed her gratitude to G Flip for participating in the filming, which they reportedly aren't too fond of. In the caption of the carousel, the Selling Sunset star also claimed that she was surprised that their conversation about their family process didn't make it [to the final cut].

"Was surprised where we are and where we’ve been in our family process didn’t make it. Very sweet of you to film for me even though I know you don’t love it. I love you," Stause wrote.

3) Missing group moments with Chelsea Lazkani and Emma Hernan

Apart from the personal scenes, certain moments involving Chrishell, Chelsea Lazkani, and Emma Hernan didn't make it to the final episodes. Stause mentioned that although the scenes had been filmed, they were ultimately cut from the season.

These interactions likely provided insight into the working relationships between the agents, as well as their interactions outside of real estate transactions.

"A scene where Emma introduced us to who she actually WAS dating. This was pretty funny bc I didn’t like him. So maybe it’s for the best," she wrote.

While Selling Sunset season 8 delivered plenty of drama, fashion, and high-stakes real estate deals, there were certain moments that fans didn't get to see. This may lead some fans to wonder what else might have been excluded from the final version of Selling Sunset season 8.
