Events of Selling Sunset season 8 episode 2 explored
Episode 2 of Selling Sunset started with a new day as Chrishell prepared for an ice bath planned by Bre. Chrishell revealed her plans to let Bre plan such an event so that she would have one-on-one time with the latter where she could persuade Bre to come back to the office.
Chrishell lasted only 45 seconds in the bath, while Bre stayed in for 3 minutes. During their time together, Chrishell discussed Bre's thoughts on her feud with Chelsea, who had criticized Bre's relationship with Nick Cannon. Chrishell managed to convince Bre to come to the office for half a day as they embraced each other.
Jason broke the news to Alanna about the Manhattan beach property from the first episode of Selling Sunset. Mary and Chelsea got the listing instead which the former doesn't think is ideal as she wanted it for herself.
Chelsea was accompanied by Emma when she visited another Manhattan property and met a listing agent who also wanted to sell this property for $30 million. Emma speculated with Chelsea about Mary's behavior and suggested Mary might be going through something. Emma expressed confusion as to why Mary was upset with Chelsea to which the latter agreed.
Brett tried to test the mettle of Alanna by asking her to look after his development listing which is still four to six weeks out. Brett and Alanna inspected the property and concluded that the property would have a privacy issue. Alanna was put in charge to rectify that and "make it look like an $8 million house."
Mary organized the open house where all the brokers of the O Group joined in to have a drink including Bre, who was skeptical of the idea. The good vibe continued as Chelsea joined the open house and took the initiative to have a conversation with Bre. Brett and Jason revealed that Alanna owned a town and they would love to put it on a listing jokingly.
Chelsea, Emma, and Chrishell hopped on a Moke and went for a ride which Mary didn't appreciate as she was expecting Chelsea to do some work in the open house as well. Mary went on to have a conversation with Jason and Brett about Chelsea. She complained about Chelsea showing up an hour late and guests talking about her revealing skirt.
Chelsea retorted and explained that she had the same goal as them of selling the property and didn't appreciate Mary complaining to their male bosses about the length of her dress.
Season 8 of Selling Sunset consists of 11 episodes which can be streamed on Netflix.
