Selling The City episode 2 premiered on Netflix on January 3, 2025. The episode kicked off with the cast visiting an American Copper building. Eleanora Srugo mentioned during the segment that the preeminent rental building was owned by a well-known real estate entrepreneur, Meyer Orbach. The owner owned buildings that had apartments for sale and a series of townhouses that never hit the market on the Upper East Side.

While Eleanora noted that she didn't want to run a rental business, she felt they could benefit from the relationship. Later in the episode, Eleonora and Jade Chan collaborated on a listing. However, their feud intervened with their work as they constantly took shots at each other.

Steve Gold gave Justin Tuinstra a tour of his listings, talking jabs at his athleticism and real estate skills. Meanwhile, Taylor Middleton joined Eleonora for an EMS therapy session, where she candidly opened up about her past struggle with Adderall addiction.

What happened in Selling The City episode 2?

Eleonora and Jade's showing

In Selling the City episode 2, Eleonora and Jade put their feud aside to collaborate on a listing. Eleonora brought her client to view Jade's listed property.

The 5th Avenue Nomad penthouse had four bedrooms and four bathrooms and was over 3,870 sqft in size. The property had an asking price of $15 million with a commission of $450,000.

While maintaining a professional attitude in front of the client, Eleonora and Jade found opportunities to take shots at each other. Jade felt that Eleonora was unnecessarily "hating" on the staging of the listing in front of the client. Meanwhile, Jade corrected Eleonora whenever she was wrong about the area surrounding the listing.

Steve takes jabs at Justin's athleticism and real estate skills

Later in the episode, Steve Gold invited Justin Tuinstra to give him a tour of his Steve Gold listing.

The East 58th St. Sutton Palace penthouse was priced at $65 million with a commission of $1.9 million. It had five bedrooms and six bathrooms and was over 9,356 sqft in size.

As they explored the Sutton Tower penthouse, Steve took every opportunity he had to jab Justin's athleticism and real estate skills. He poked fun at Justin's fitted suit when he was unable to make a basketball shot. When they entered an archery simulator, Justin missed the target while Steve hit the mark.

"Justin, to me, is like… a cute puppy, you know. Like, I can't hate on the guy 'cause I actually kind of like him, but I think when it comes to sports, athletics… …and obviously real estate, there's a very clear winner. That's me," Steve reacted in his confessional.

Taylor opens up about her past Adderall addiction

At the end of episode 2 of Selling The City, Eleanora Srugo took Taylor Middleton for Emsculpt, which she explained was an "EMS therapy." During their session, the two Selling The City cast mates discussed their demanding job and how it has taken a toll on their personal lives.

While Taylor expressed appreciation for the opportunities she was getting, she felt that she was losing connection with her partner as they weren't able to spend quality time together.

Taylor later opened up about her past struggle with addiction. She shared that when she was in high school, she started drinking due to peer pressure. Later, when she went to Vanderbilt, she got on Adderall. At first, she enjoyed it and felt like she "could do it all." However, the Selling The City star quickly got physically dependent on it.

"I had MRSA all over my face and skin. So I had lesions all over me, and I was about 80 pounds. The doctor said, you know, you can either accept help… Otherwise, I give you… two months. To live," she added.

Selling The City episodes 1 to 8 are now available on Netflix.
