Selling The City episode 4 recap: Abi feels mistreated while Eleonora calls up a meeting

Selling The City was released on January 3, 2025, on Netflix as part of the Selling franchise, which includes Selling Sunset and Selling The OC. The spotlight shifts to the vibrant city of New York, where an elite team of real estate agents from Douglas Elliman excel in the luxury housing market.

In the previous episode, Eleonora receives guidance from Steve, a seasoned broker at The Corcoran Group, urging her to establish clear boundaries with her team. Meanwhile, Justin reveals surprising news, disclosing that Jade has been secretly mentoring Taylor, which catches Eleonora off guard.

The latest episode saw Abi feeling mistreated while Eleonora called up a meeting to address the Taylor and Jade issue.

What happened in Selling The City episode 4?

The episode kicked off with Eleonora inviting Giselle to see a listing near Gramercy Park. Eleonora stated that she had noticed the hard work Giselle was putting in and wanted her to take the lead on this listing. Grateful for the opportunity, Giselle shared that she wanted to stay clear of the conflict happening between Eleonora, Taylor, and Jade.

Meanwhile, Abi and Jordyn bonded over a cup of coffee as they shared details about a listing in Irving. Abi felt that most of the communication was happening behind her back and wanted to rectify that. Jordyn retorted that she felt as an experienced member that she should be taking the lead on the matter which frustrated Abi further.

"She keeps saying that I'm green. I've been doing this for four years. I have almost ten million under my belt. Like, that's not green, honey," stated Abi.

Jade called Justin over to see a listing at The High Line and they soon addressed the tension between Jade and Eleonora. Justin believed that the two could hash things out and Jade agreed and claimed she had nothing but love for her. In a confessional, Jade revealed that five years ago, she threw a birthday party for Eleonora.

Jade revealed that at the time, Eleonora was going out with Justin and was embarrassed to see him at the party, resulting in Eleonora losing her patience.

"What's the real issue here? Because I have never had to work so hard on a friendship in my entire life. And now that we're all in the TriBeCa office together, I can't walk on eggshells every time I'm around you," claimed Jade.

The Selling The City stars Abi and Taylor showed off their spouses to the fans as the couples went on separate dates in the city. While Abi and her spouse went out to get gnocchi, things weren't so good with Taylor and her husband. Taylor's husband Peter was constantly interrupted by Taylor's work calls as the two dined in.

Eleonora called in a meeting back in the office and expressed that she wanted to give her team access to things she didn't have when she was in their position. The team leader got emotional as she recalled not having a mattress to sleep on. She felt upset that there were doubts about her ability in the team even after the effort she was putting in the team.

Taylor understood the hint and apologized for creating a rift in the team on Selling The City. Eleonora accepted her apology and even sympathized with Taylor as the latter was having marital issues.
