Selling Sunset released its newest season on Netflix on Friday, September 6, 2024. The Oppenheim agents, surrounded by controversies, competed against one another to secure the title of the best-selling agent in the real estate market of Los Angeles, California.
Amidst the professional drama, the cast members often found their personal lives in shambles. In episode 3 of the Netflix series, Bre's close friend, Amanda, revealed that Chelsea's husband, Jeff Lazkani, was allegedly seen cheating with another woman at a hotel. Bre conveyed the news to Chelsea, who was not too pleased to hear it.
Eventually, Chelsea started suspecting Bre's intentions, recalling their rocky history. In episode 10, Bre and Amanda discussed the backlash they received for outing Jeff's infidelity. Bre slammed Chelsea for not keeping track of her husband's whereabouts.
"Every night. She [Chelsea] was out 24/7, so she wouldn't know if he [Jeff] was out," Bre said.
The Selling Sunset cast member criticized Chelsea for inappropriately arguing with her at Mary and Jason's dog, Niko's funeral. She noted that Chelsea's accusations sabotaged her friendship with Emma and Chrishell.
Bre accused Chelsea of "playing the victim," and cornering her to a place where she would be left with no allies.
"Go find your husband" — Selling Sunset star Bre slams Chelsea for suspecting her motives
While speaking with Amanda, Bre confessed she wished she had not said anything to Chelsea. Amanda said it was insensible of her to suspect Bre's motives instead of "addressing the issue" with Jeff.
"First of all go find your husband. Where is your husband?" Bre said.
The Selling Sunset cast member stated she found no logic in Chelsea's rage since the information about Jeff's infidelity came to her naturally. Amanda chimed in and confessed the allegation was not orchestrated to target anyone. No one had purposely scooped the information on Jeff to use it to their advantage.
As a result, Bre refused to tolerate Chelsea's attitude. She criticized the cast member for not being aware of her husband's activities. She blamed Chelsea's outgoing and active lifestyle for her downfall. She said:
"I can't party with you every night. I'm too busy being a mom. I don't know what Chelsea's doing, but I'm not out every night at the club, dinner, work."
The Selling Sunset star held Chelsea's lifestyle accountable for losing her husband to someone else.
"I think it's like, she had a new life, she was on the show. He didn't like that and he went and did his thing. And you know if you're not paying attention to your man, you're not gonna know what's going on," Bre mentioned.
She called the cast member "classless" for arguing with her at Niko's funeral. She also accused her of sabotaging her friendship with Emma by calling them "surface-level friends." Since Emma chose to side with Chelsea, Bre refused to reconcile. She said she did not "take out stray dogs."
Bre also criticized Chelsea for putting Chrishell in a tough spot by forcing her to pick a side.
Bre claimed Chelsea was creating a narrative that benefitted her. She cleverly orchestrated the feud and pushed Bre to a place without friends. The Selling Sunset star admitted it seemed "entirely vengeful, personal." She stated there was no going back, declaring "war" on Chelsea.
"Chelsea's playing checkers with someone who plays chess," Bre said.
Episodes of Selling Sunset season 8 are available to stream only on Netflix.
