The drama on Big Brother Season 26 continued to captivate viewers, with Brooklyn Rivera's eviction from the house in episode 18 (August 22). The 34-year-old contestant recently discussed her elimination from the show and expressed her opinion about her fellow houseguest, Angela Murray.

During an interview with Us Weekly on August 23, she claimed that Angela frequently fake-cried and that her true character became evident during the first week. Brooklyn went on to say:

"The Angela you saw week one who was yelling at a young boy and bringing his mother into the conversation is exactly the person Angela is. So, don’t get fooled by her ‘I’m just an old mom’ act. No, she is manipulative."

Angela’s 'manipulative' behavior sparks tensions in Big Brother house

Brooklyn's allegations against Angela Murray stemmed from several incidents in the Big Brother house, where observers closely monitored Angela's behavior. Angela had called fellow houseguest Matt Hardeman "crazy eyes" and said that his mother saw him on TV as a "brat." This incident occurred during the first week and garnered significant attention.

In the interview, Brooklyn pointed out this moment as a prime example of Angela’s manipulative nature, urging the audience not to be deceived by her "old mom" act, which appeared harmless. Brooklyn also recounted a recent argument she had with Angela over a charcuterie platter, which had gained considerable social media traction.

Angela was annoyed that Brooklyn ate from the platter after she was demoted to Head of Household (HoH), even though she initially claimed she didn’t mind. Brooklyn described Angela's reaction as "hungry and bitter," further reinforcing her claim that Angela was not as innocent as she portrayed herself in the Big Brother house.

Brooklyn’s take on other houseguests and their gameplay

Brooklyn not only shared her thoughts on Angela but also on how other Big Brother houseguests played, particularly Leah Peters and Makensy 'MJ' Manbeck. She expressed her frustration, believing they weren’t making any real alliances or strategic moves.

Brooklyn argued that MJ's early relationship with Matt Hardeman was a mistake that isolated her from the other contestants. She stated:

"MJ just put herself on the outs week one with a showmance with Matt that lasted nine days. I mean, come on, sis, be a little smarter than that. She’s also really young and a little naive so people don’t trust her. She’s got a loud Texas mouth."

Brooklyn also noted that MJ was considered untrustworthy because she overshared, leading other houseguests to dislike her. As for Leah, Brooklyn believed she was too focused on her appearance, specifically on her weekly nail appointments, which made her forgettable in the game.

Although Brooklyn liked Leah as a person, she referred to her as a "floater," implying that she didn’t make any significant moves during the game. These insights offered viewers a glimpse into the complex social dynamics within the Big Brother house and showcased Brooklyn's strategic thinking, even after her departure from the game.
