Big Brother Season 26 is currently in week 10 and is approaching its conclusion. Out of the sixteen initial contestants, only seven remain- Chelsie Baham, Kimo Apaka, Angela Murray, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Makensy Manbeck, Leah Peters, and Rubina Bernabe.
At the beginning of the week, houseguests were informed they would face double eviction. Angela and Leah were the only two contestants nominated for eviction after Kimo was saved by POV. Angela was torn apart because she was on the block with Leah. She expressed her emotional turmoil as she would now have to fight for survival against Leah, whom she considers like a daughter.
Angela shared in her confessional that campaigning against Leah would be one of the hardest things she has to do so far on the show:
"I am sick to my stomach. This moment is nothing but sheer agony because campaigning against Leah will definitely be one of the hardest things that I have to do. Because Leah is like a daughter to me.
However, she acknowledged that being on Big Brother was her dream and felt she would have to fight for it, even if it meant going against someone she cared about.
Big Brother star Leah regrets targeting Rubina and Kimo's alliance
Ainsley (AI houseguest) returned from her journey and introduced double eviction for Big Brother season 26 week 10. Makensy became the HOH (Head of Household) for the first round and nominated Kimo, Angela, and Leah for eviction. The week's HOH also won the Power of Veto and chose to remove Kimo from the nominations. This left the two allies, Leah and Angela, on the block.
Kimo survived being on the block for four consecutive weeks and expressed delight at being saved once again:
"I can not believe that I have survived the block again! Five times is more than enough and I swear to all that is Big Brother that there will not be a sixth."
While Kimo was celebrating his survival in the game, Leah rushed to the living room. Angela followed Leah and tried to console her, reassuring her that she had nothing to worry about and that if anyone were to go home, it would be Angela herself, not Leah. However, the latter did not believe Angela's words and felt she would be evicted.
Leah regretted the decisions she made last week when she was the HOH. The Big Brother season 26 houseguest told Angela that she was heartbroken by the fact that Makensy chose Kimo to save instead of her. The 26-year-old added that she should have followed her plans and gone after Makensy's group:
"I feel like such a moron. I should have done... what I planned to do last week. I should have taken them out. And I've had Makensy's back since day one. I've never lied to her one time. I should have just trusted my gut last week. I f**ked so bad and I knew it. "
Leah was the HOH during week 9 and also had won the Jankie's POV (Power of Veto). She had nominated Kimo and Rubina to be put on the block. When Kimo was saved by the POV last week, she chose to replace his nomination position with her alliance member T'kor. As a result, the Big Brother contestant was eliminated.
During the recent episode, Leah acknowledged that she made a mistake going after Kimo, Rubina, and T'kor. She wished she had targeted Makensy, Chelsea, and Cam instead. Leah told Angela:
"I should not have gone after that trio last week. I should have 100% gone after these jokers... that lie about everything, every single week. Bunch of scared little kids to make their own moves."
Big Brother season 26 airs on CBS every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
