“Should just be boyfriends” — Love Island USA fans think Rob and Aaron should be a couple

Love Island USA season 6 finale is scheduled for July 21, 2024, at 9 pm ET on Peacock. Ahead of the finale, fans watched the AfterSun segment of the show on July 20, where host Maura Higgins interviewed the eliminated couples about their journey.

When Higgins invited Aaron and Kaylor, she showed them a video which she called a "bromance clip" of Aaron and Rob. It was a montage of sweet moments between the two guys, which showed them supporting each other through thick and thin.

Fans took to X to react to this video clip. Some found their bromance cute, while others said they should be a couple. Netizens even jokingly said that they thought the male contestants were already in a secret relationship which was apparent from the video. One X user said:

Others thought they could make a "happy couple" even after the show ends.

Netizens also highlighted some of the duo's best moments on Love Island that displayed their bond.

"Lmaoo Aaron talking about Rob to his family?? Like this is not even a bromance this is a proper relationship," an X user wrote.

Rob and Aaron's friendship on Love Island USA season 6

Rob and Aaron's friendship was first evident when Andrea was eliminated from the Love Island USA villa on episode 12. Aaron cried because he felt bad that Rob had lost a genuine connection. He also got mad at the ladies of the villa for eliminating Andrea, when they clearly knew she had a strong bond with Rob.

When Andrea was sent home, Rob was so hurt he wanted to leave the villa, because according to him he wasn't going to find a better connection there. Aaron stopped Rob, saying he should stay for him. Rob agreed and said he was going to continue only for Aaron.

Their bromance was again on display in episode 27 when the producers played a clip of Leah talking badly about Rob during the Movie Nights segment. The clip showed her furiously talking in the girl's room about how Rob had cried after leaving her. Aaron had Rob's back, he called Leah out for discussing about someone's vulnerability, which made Leah apologize to Rob.

In episode 34 of Love Island USA, the journey of Rob-Kassy and Aaron-Kaylor came to an end. That's when Rob and Aaron met on the docks to reminisce their moments on the show. They thanked one another for being there, and Aaron even said he was happy that they were leaving the island together. Rob echoed his sentiments.

They hugged each other and confirmed that they wouldn't have survived the show without each other.
