Single's Inferno season 4 episode 2: Couples go on dates and forge new connections

The much-awaited Single's Inferno season 4 premiered on January 14, 2025, with its first four episodes. They mainly consisted of the participants meeting each other and forming new connections. Some of them also had the chance to go to Paradise Island for one-on-one dates.

Si-an, A-Rin, and You-jin came to the men's inferno to get to know Theo, Dong-ho, and Tae-hwan. At the end of it, Si-an went on a Paradise Island date with Theo, while the other participants didn't find a match.

In the other half of the episode, Jun-seo and Jeong-su came to the women's inferno, where they met Ji-yeon, Hye-jin, and Min-seol. After getting each of them through one-on-one conversations, Hye-jin and Jeong-su chose each other for a Paradise Island date. Ji-Yeon and Min-seol chose Jun-seo for the date, but the episode ended without knowing who Jun-seo had chosen.

How the participants got to know each other on Single's Inferno season 4 episode 2

After Si-an went on a Paradise Island date with Jeong-su, she said she felt butterflies for him because she felt he did everything right. You-jin, who went on a Paradise Island date with Jun-seo, said it was a lot of "fun," but she didn't feel any butterflies and was open to know more participants.

The Paradise Island couples were then separated and sent to Single's Inferno. Si-an first went out with Theo to get to know him. Theo said he liked her because she seemed to have a cold exterior, and breaking it seemed like a challenge, which he said he liked.

In his one-on-one with A-rin, though, Theo talked about defying logic while one was looking to date. But A-rin thought they were different as people, which she thought was interesting.

Si-an and Dong-ho laughed a lot during their one-on-one. When Si-an was alone with You-jin, they had a more serious conversation and shared similar notions about ideal relationships. Then, when Si-an saw Tae-hwan, the commentators thought the latter was young, and even Si-an seemed to treat him like a younger brother.

This was followed by the ceremony, during which each participant named the person they wanted to go to Paradise Island with. If that person also named them, they would go to their date; if not, they wouldn't get to go, thus ensuring a mutual connection.

You-jin chose to go to Paradise with Dong-ho, while the latter named A-rin. Meanwhile, A-rin wanted to go with Theo, while Theo took Si-an's name. This meant Dong-ho and A-rin weren't going on any dates. While Tae-hwan chose Si-an to take to Paradise Island, she chose Theo. The only couples to match their liking for each other were Si-an and Theo, so they took off to Paradise, leaving others behind.

On their Single's Inferno date, they had dinner, swam, and hung out around a luxurious hotel complex. Si-an said she wanted to have fun in the Single's Inferno, even after returning.

This was followed by Jun-seo's one-on-one with Ji-yeon. In a Single's Inferno confessional, the latter said she thought he was cold. With Min-seol, Jun-seo talked about personality types and how they liked goats. Hye-jin also went out with Jeong-so, where they talked about the kind of people they were. The three ladies and the two men then met for the decision.

Jeong-su and Hye-jin chose each other and went to Single's Inferno Paradise. Both the remaining ladies took Jun-seo's name, but who he chose back wasn't shown as the episode ended on a cliffhanger.
