Single’s Inferno episode 3 recap: New arrivals and returning couples

Episode 3 of Single’s Inferno begins with the arrival of a new cast member, Bae Ji-Yeon, who makes an immediate impression on the group. A-Rin and You-Jin noted her arrival, recognizing her as a new cast member. Greeted warmly by the existing contestants, Ji-Yeon confidently introduces herself and shares details about her time in Inferno.

Kim Te-hwan was among the first to engage with her, asking for her name and later inquiring about her previous day. Ji-Yeon revealed that she had spent the night alone in Inferno. “I had dinner all by myself,” she revealed to Kim Te-Hwan, who was intrigued by her cheerful demeanor and kind eyes. Te-Hwan noted in his confessional,

“I thought it’d be nice to have a chat with her.”

As Ji-Yeon settles into the island, the couples begin returning from their luxurious retreats in Paradise. The first to arrive are Lee Si-An and Jang Theo, whose playful banter captivates the group. Theo humorously apologized for forgetting their “wedding invitations,” earning laughs from everyone. His partner, Si-An, appeared equally relaxed.

Elsewhere in the episode, Yuk Jun-Seo and Kim Min-Seol enjoyed their paradise date. Their chemistry becomes evident as they share candid moments during their private date. Complimenting her authenticity, Jun-Seo told Min-Seol,

“I liked that you didn’t seem pretentious, and it stood out.”

The two engaged in lighthearted conversations about their ages, with Jun-Seo accurately guessing Min-Seol’s age as 23. Their connection deepens as Min-Seol reveals her profession as a freelance sports announcer, a job she describes with pride.

“I currently work as a freelance announcer. I mostly do sportscasts and live commentary,” Min-Seol explained in her confessional, adding that her role allows her to bring energy and authenticity to her work.

Her revelation surprised Jun-Seo, who initially guessed she might work in sales. Similarly, Jun-Seo’s artistic profession as a painter and exhibitor surprised Min-Seol, who remarked,

“You’re telling me an artist played first with a physical game yesterday.”

Their conversation in Single’s Inferno concluded with Jun-Seo inviting Min-Seol to his next exhibition, hinting at a potential future meeting.
