TLC's Sister Wives follows Kody Brown and his four wives—Robyn, Meri, Janelle, and Christine—as they navigate their polyamorous lifestyle. In its 19th season, the show highlights the women rebuilding their lives after separating from Kody. Recent episodes feature Kody’s tearful goodbye to Meri as she leaves Flagstaff, and Christine announcing her engagement to David to their children.

Sister Wives Season 19, Episode 11, The Eleventh Hour, aired on Sunday, November 24, at 10 p.m. on TLC. Meri and Kody's marriage officially came to an end with a legal divorce, although they remained spiritually connected until 2023. Christine ended her relationship with Kody in 2021, and Janelle brought their 30-year relationship to a close in 2022.

What happened in Sister Wives season 19 episode 11?

Christine Brown and her fiance, David, shared the news of their engagement with their families on the latest episode of Sister Wives. The proposal had taken place in a previous episode, with David getting down on one knee to ask for Christine's hand in marriage.

Before the announcement, Christine and David treated their children to pizza, and Christine was pleased to see how well the kids were getting along. This positive dynamic encouraged the couple to share their engagement news with their families.

Christine had already confided in her daughter, Ysabel, about the engagement, as she was particularly concerned about Ysabel's well-being. With their families gathered around, Christine and David shared a video showcasing their special moment, and then Christine officially announced the news to everyone on Sister Wives.

Kody Brown was overcome with emotion as he helped his ex-wife Meri Brown move to Utah. Despite their amicable interaction earlier in the day, Meri was caught off guard by Kody's sudden display of feelings.

As Kody assisted Meri with unpacking, their conversation remained light and friendly. However, when it was time for Kody to leave, he became visibly emotional, shedding tears and struggling to let go of Meri.

“Meri, it’s the end of the era. It’s a great run, but I’m not going to let it get me down,” stated Kody.

Meri seemed perplexed by Kody's outburst, unsure of how to react. Kody explained that this moment marked the first time he had truly come to terms with the end of their relationship.

Kody reflected on their past, acknowledging the special bond they shared. He expressed gratitude for their ability to remain friends and apologized for his past wrongdoings.

As Kody continued to open up, he shared his thoughts on Meri's potential future relationships. Meri was taken aback by Kody's comments, particularly when he mentioned walking her down the aisle if she were to get married again.

Meri doubted Kody's emotional goodbye, questioning if he was sincere or joking, given his past behavior. Kody saw his tears as a necessary closure to their relationship and their polygamist family dream. Before parting, they shared a final hug, signaling it was time to move on.

Janelle Brown expressed frustration on Sister Wives, stating she's tired of being blamed for the family's financial issues by Kody Brown. Janelle clarified she only recorded expenses and sent them to the accountant, never controlling the finances. Christine also supported Janelle's claims.

“If you controlled the money, I think things would look a lot different. All I did was record what was spent and sent it to the accountant,” claimed Christine.

Kody implied Janelle might have had more control, but Janelle accused him of making her the scapegoat. Meri remained unsure, caught between Janelle and Kody's differing accounts.
