What happened on Sister Wives season 19 episode 16?
On sister wives season 19 episode 16, Meri reflected on her marriage with Kody, recalling what he had told her back in Vegas. In her confession interview, Meri shared that Kody told her that she was "really horrible" to him for the past 20 years, hence it would take him the same amount of time to "fix his relationship" with Meri.
Meri implied that Kody's behavior wasn't always the best, and there were times when she considered parting ways with him. However, the Sister Wives star was willing to make it work and understood that Kody was "trying to figure things out," and that maybe "he doesn't mean" what he says most of the time.
Meri further elaborated on her thought process while looking back at the duration of her marriage with Kody.
"No wonder people look at me and are like really, why did you not get the clue? I got the clue, I got the message that he was giving. I was chalking it out to you know, the fact that he was trying to figure things out and a lot of times really nasty things came out of his mouth when he doesn't mean them," she said.
Later in the episode, Meri admitted to the cameras that she wasn't "the easiest to live with," and did not expect perfection from anyone.
"Also, I know I wasn't the easiest to live with. You know what I mean? And I get that," she continued.
The Sister Wives star also shared that Kody asked her to "fix" some of her traits in order for him to make their relationship work. The Brown family patriarch, Kody, on the other hand, shared the reason why he mentioned that.
"The point as is, I wanna be in a relationship that works and is good, and maybe if you want a roadmap to get that we start with something that bothers me about you," he said.
The upcoming episode 17 will focus more on whether Kody and Meri will be back on good terms as they go down memory lane.
