Bri told the cameras that Joe had changed his decision in a short time which made her feel "relieved" that he was not dating someone else. Bri's reaction to the Joe and Ellie situation on Below Deck Mediterranean season 9
During the Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 after-show, the cast sat down to share their opinion on the ongoing boatmance between Joe Bradley, Elena "Ellie" Dubaich, and Bri Muller. When Bri was asked how she felt about Joe first saying yes to Elena asking her out on a date and then saying no immediately, she said:
"Him saying yes and then coming back like an hour later and saying no it's just like, how could you? Okay fine, I guess it was like a little bit of relief."
In the aftershow clip, shared on the Bravo YouTube channel on August 19, 2024, Bri admitted to feeling "kind of yay" after Joe turned down his date.
When Joe was asked why he did that, he shared that he was just being honest with himself. Joe had already clarified this to Ellie that he wasn't looking for something serious as he didn't think he was ready to date yet. Ellie was confused at this response as she didn't want a serious commitment either. She thought they should get to know one another over drinks and see where their connection leads.
Meanwhile, Joe said:
"I've never been asked on a date before. This I think is like really serious and I'm just flapping out if I'm honest. For me, I don't want anything serious and stuff like that. Dating for me is like, up there, and I'm not ready."
Ellie was upset at Joe's sudden decision change.
