"So fake" — Love Island USA fans slam Kendall for being the "messiest"

Love Island USA season 6 released its latest episode on Monday, July 8. The popular dating series featured the Casa Amor recoupling ceremony in episode 22, which left several relationships scarred.

Kordell and Serena, Kaylor and Aaron, and Kenny and JaNa were the couples that were affected the most. During his stay at Casa Amor, Kordell connected with 'bombshell' Daia. Although he hesitated initially, due to his relationship with his partner, Serena, he ultimately gave in to the temptation and pursued the new spark.

Whenever Kordell felt unsure, co-star Kendall supported his decision, reassuring him that he was not making a mistake. Once Kordell coupled with Daia, Serena humiliated him for betraying her.

In the latest episode, Kendall apologized to Serena, saying he cared about her as a friend. He also reassured her that no comparisons were being drawn between her and Daia. However, moments before that, Kendall told Kordell that he disapproved of Serena's outburst and thought she was too emotional. He added that Kordell was lucky to have someone like Daia by his side.

Love Island USA fans were surprised by the duality in his statements, and they took to X to vent their frustration about Kendall's misleading comments.

Kendall's apology to Serena appeared fake to many since it contradicted what he said to Kordell.

Viewers noticed his "manipulative" personality and sympathized with his Love Island USA partner, Nicole.

Kendall calls Serena's behavior immature in Love Island USA season 6

During Casa Amor week, Kendall encouraged Love Island USA co-star Kordell to pursue Daia. He urged him not to worry about Serena and to do what felt right. He criticized Serena's slow-paced approach to their relationship, pointing out how quickly Daia reciprocated his advances.

Serena struggled to get intimate with Kordell, which she knew bothered him. However, with time, she opened up, and their relationship transformed from a "friendship couple" to a committed one. Despite this, Kordell was attracted to Daia, which Kendall considered to be perfectly normal.

When Serena saw Kordell with Daia, she had an emotional outburst. She insulted her Love Island USA ex-partner for the betrayal and the other boys for encouraging him. Witnessing his state, Kendall said:

"The way Serena's handled this conflict is insane. She's just in an emotional state. She is fiery as hell."

He told Kordell that Serena was "close-walling" him and did not even let him have a chance.

"Daia's a great girl dawg. You got someone great, who literally is mature as hell, bro. What Serena is doing right now is completely opposite of maturity," Kendall added.

Later in the episode, Kendall apologized to Serena and explained that no comparisons had been made between her and Daia.

"No, there was no rooting. This isn't like a "Daia over Serena" thing. This is "If you see something, bring her back and see how it is," said Kendall.

Viewers were unimpressed by the conflicting statements made by the Love Island USA cast member, and hoped the truth would soon be disclosed on "Movie Night."
