Season 7B of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation released its latest episode on Thursday, November 14, 2024. The segment saw the cast engage with their families and build new relationships. While Mike celebrated the birth of his daughter, Sammi got an embryo transfer, hoping to start a family of her own soon. At the same time, Snooki spent her day looking after her children who were down with fever.
In the meantime, Jenni went out to enjoy a meal with Pauly D., Angelina, and Vinny. While she was at the restaurant, her 10-year-old daughter, Meilani Mathews, contacted her to spill some "tea." She revealed that there was a boy in her class who she fancied. Jenni was pleasantly surprised by the news and said:
"Where's the parenting book for this? Someone help me out."
Angelina and Pauly D. listened in disbelief, while Vinny commented on the conversation saying it was not what he was expecting to hear. Jenni was caught off guard by the news and did not know how to deal with the situation. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star got worried, thinking Meilani was rushing things.
"I need another martini" — Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni worries about her daughter
While Jenni was out with the other cast members, Meilani texted her saying she had "tea." Pauly D. burst out laughing when Jenni showed him the message. Soon, she received Meilani's call, to which Pauly D commented, "Let's hear it. I love kid gossip."
Meilani revealed that she liked a boy from her class. While Jenni was surprised by the confession, Pauly D. asked for the boy's name and social security number.
"I'm going full uncle right now. Need a background check. I need a social security number and by the way, where does he live and I wanna meet his parents," he added.
Meilani mentioned that the boy had a bracelet that said "I heart you," which she saw and mustered the courage to confess her feelings to him. However, she was scared about how things would turn out. Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni retorted, "This is what happens when you're dating."
While speaking to the cameras, Jenni said that things were unfolding rapidly which worried her. Vinny commented on her situation, saying, "It's giving teenage girl." The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation female cast member noted that the "9-10-year-olds of today" acted like the 15-year-olds of her time.
"Everything is just happening at rapid fire...and there's hormones involved. This makes me drink heavily. I need another martini," Jenni said.
She jokingly advised Pauly D. not to have daughters or he would have to deal with similar situations in the future. He agreed and compared himself to the kids of Meilani's generation. He noted that when he was her age he played with ants in the dirt, while children nowadays had relationships and crushes.
The other Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast members began commenting on how dramatically things had changed, addressing themselves as "late bloomers." On the contrary, Vinny revealed that he had the "birds and bees talk" with his father when he was "mad young."
"It came out of nowhere. I just felt like he just had to jam it on somewhere. No pun intended," he added.
Meanwhile, Pauly D. stated his children would only be allowed to date when they turned 30. During a confessional, he jokingly mentioned that the day his daughter revealed she liked someone, would be a "sad day" for the person she fancied.
