"Something special!" - Real Housewives of Orange County fans praise Katie and Jenn's growing friendship

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 9 saw ups and downs in the dynamics between the housewives and also their individual lives. Katie feuded with Heather, while Shannon didn't like how Tamra pointed out her drinking problem.

Jenn was also going through a divorce. She had to appear in court recently to fight for her financial rights. The intensity of the court hearings and procedures was taking a toll on her, which she confided in, to Katie.

Their friendship was highlighted even more when they did yoga together. They spoke about their families and the things that bother them. Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are taking to X to point out this growing friendship and praised it.

Some fans believed that growing friendships on the Real Housewives franchise almost inevitably meant that a rift would follow in the future.

"Loving that Jenn and Katie's friendship has developed into something special!" a fan said.

"Now I will say, it has been nice to see the natural progression of Jenn and Katie’s friendship. Jenn clearly needed someone she could talk to about her divorce proceedings, and it’s great that Katie has been able to be there for her," said another fan.

What happened in Jenn's divorce proceedings on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 episode 9?

Episode 9 of Real Housewives of Orange County was titled A Picture With a Thousand Words and saw Jenn finally gearing up for a court session that would determine the finances she and her children were entitled to, post her divorce from Will Pedranti.

Soon after her hearing, Jenn was left in tears, exhausted by the procedures of the court. She confided in Katie and told her she couldn't do "all this" anymore. She took to a confessional, saying the last time she went to the court was when they were adopting a child in 2019.

Reminiscing the times, Jenn said that she and Will were so united and bonded back then.

She revealed that now, she was given $6000 a month for herself and her five children, which wasn't enough for her. She said their lifestyle didn't match what it was before.

Tamra also weighed in on the situation and said that she felt like Jenn wouldn't still get a job, and would choose to rely on her boyfriend Ryan instead.
