What happened in Southern Charm season 10 episode 7?

The Southern Charm season 10 episode 7 kicked off with JT joining Craig and Shep for a fishing trip. They found it weird and funny that their boat captain's name was Austin, which was similar to the fellow cast member Austen's name. JT wasn't an avid fisherman, but he wanted to spend time with his new friends. Craig and Shep taught JT how to bait a hook, and they couldn't help but laugh at his inexperience.

Despite being a newbie, JT caught a large fish. The group took a photo of their catch and uploaded it on their social media profile. Whitney, Madison, and Austen later hung out together. When prompted by Madison, Austen revealed that he was not happy with the fishing photograph. For the unversed, Craig invited Austen to fish with the group previously but he refused as he had an ongoing feud with JT.

Claiming that the picture was like a slap on his face, Austen called the group "a**holes". Austen was also not happy because Craig wanted to dissolve their podcast. While Whitney called Craig "judgemental", Madison took Austen's side as well and felt Craig would have chosen them over JT.

"The reason I'm mad is because Craig is calling me on the side and like, 'We're done with this guy [JT]'. And I'm like, 'Say less,'" stated Madison in a confessional.

In another segment of Southern Charm episode 7, Craig hung out with Shep and opened up about his relationship with Paige DeSorbo. Craig relayed his desire to get engaged to her while talking to his friend. However, he expressed frustration with Paige's indecisiveness as well. Craig explained that she often changed her mind about important life decisions.

Craig had discussed his concerns with Shep and Austen Kroll earlier in the season. As a result, Craig had taken steps to freeze his sperm. In a reflective moment, Craig considered the potential risks of waiting. The group later gathered around at Molly's tuba concert to support the Southern Charm star.

Molly revealed that she started playing tuba when she was around 10 years old. Despite that, she was still nervous about the performance as she had taken a break from playing due to her professional career. After her act, Molly mentioned that JT offered to give his own event space for the cast members to hang out with.

But as soon as the cast gathered, JT mentioned Gaston Rojas's alleged cheating rumors with his girlfriend, Taylor Ann Green. JT also brought up Salley Carson, his ex, who happened to be present in the room. This escalated the situation. JT claimed his intention was to inform Taylor and protect her well-being. However, others disagreed with his approach.

"I don’t know if being an arbiter of truth makes you a bad person. But I do care about Taylor, her well-being, her future. I’m coming at this with no agenda for myself," said JT in a confessional.

Craig Conover criticized JT for inserting himself into situations that didn't concern him. The conversation quickly turned heated, with everyone raising their voices. Taylor became upset and left the scene.
