Michols shared that Will had made negative comments about Emmy, stating that he felt miserable in their relationship and disapproved of her physical appearance since she stopped drinking.
Meanwhile, Madison and Joe discussed their future, which was prompted by questions from her parents. Madison expressed hesitation about marriage due to her sobriety and lack of a long-term plan but admitted she would say yes to Joe’s proposal to avoid embarrassing him.
However, Joe was fully committed to their relationship and shared a dream of living at the beach, though Madison’s parents suggested he might need to start building her a sandcastle.
