Love is Blind Mexico, the Netflix reality show's format, has contestants interact through pods without seeing each other face-to-face before getting engaged and stepping out of the pods to explore their connection further. The final two episodes of the show were released on August 15, 2024.
Irais and Rene were among the couples who got engaged and could maintain their connection outside of the pods. In episode 9, the two were busy with wedding preparations as their families gathered to discuss the celebratory event. By the end of the episode, Irais was ready as a bride, and Rene was about to head to the wedding venue.
Irais' family, including her parents, got emotional when they saw their daughter on her big day. Her mother told the cameras that it was a very "special moment" for her family to see that Irais had found love and was embarking on a new journey of love. During her confessional interview, she said:

Love is Blind Mexico star Irais shared a heartfelt moment with her mother in episode 9
In Love is Blind Mexico episode 9, Irais' mother got emotional after seeing her daughter in a bridal dress. Irais was both nervous and excited to start a new chapter. However, the main question still remained unanswered. According to the show's format, at the altar, the couple decides whether they want to marry each other or part ways.
Irais hoped Rene would say yes, but she was confused herself as the most important moment awaited her decision. The Love is Blind Mexico contestant got teary eyed after she met her mother, Maria. Maria Carrillo told Irais:
"I couldn't have imagined this more perfectly. Look at you. You look like a princess, my darling. I love it. You look beautiful. My heart is gonna burst. I swear my heart is gonna burst, my beautiful girl. "
She continued stating how becoming a bride was Irais' dream since she was a child, so it was a full circle moment for her. Carrillo also mentioned that she was happy to see that Irais had found her one true love. She told the cameras:
"Since she was a little girl, Irais has dreamed of walking down the aisle, looking and feeling like a princess. I think my daughter is very lucky to have finally found true love in her life."
Episode 9 did not reveal Irais' decision at the altar. She previously admitted to not knowing what her final decision would be and said that she would decide at that moment.
Throughout the show, Irais and Rene worked on their relationship, made compromises, and did their best to make it work. Episode 10 reveals whether or not the Love is Blind Mexico cast members end up choosing to marry each other.
