Week 6's last episode on Big Brother season 26, i.e., episode 21, was released on August 29. It saw Tucker Des Lauriers going home on T'kor Clottey's reign as Head of Household. Tucker was nominated only because he volunteered to be a pawn and help T'kor.
Once on the block, Chelsie coaxed the houseguests to flip their votes on him, which successfully blindsided him and sent him home. 5 out of 8 votes in the house went to Tucker, which originally should have been 0 since he was only a pawn for someone else's eviction.
After his eviction, Tucker was interviewed by US Weekly, where he revealed how he felt about some houseguests. Describing their deceiving nature, Tucker said:
"Some people had a long hot blade that they were looking forward to stabbing people in the back with."
What did Big Brother star Tucker say about his co-contestants after he was evicted from the show?
In the interview with US Weekly, which was published a day after his eviction, Tucker said he could only play his game truthfully and that he couldn't lie or deceive anyone. Talking about how contrasting some of his co-contestants were to him, Tucker said:
"Lying and deceiving is a very hard thing for me to do. In there, some people are very good at flicking that switch on and flicking others off."
When asked when he would have turned on Angela, Tucker shared that he would have waited until she reached the Top 5. Talking about his own strategy, Tucker said:
"I wanted to play this game as truthfully as [I] could until [I] made it down to [my] core six or so and then just do what you gotta do."
While he said that some of the contestants had a long "blade," he said he had a "little dull butter knife" and that he was scared to stab people with it. He added that that was what got him evicted alongside the AI Arena puzzle he wasn't able to solve.
Big Brother star Tucker said he wants to be on The Challenge
During the interview, he was also asked if he wanted to appear on any other reality TV show. Tucker exclaimed that he wanted "to go on The Challenge," the adventure reality show.
He said he couldn't see himself not winning it and juxtaposed it with his vision for Big Brother. He said he wanted to play Big Brother differently, unlike how it had been played in the past seasons. He said it wasn't his strategy until he met with his co-contestants and decided to stay true to himself.
He added that he had a blast playing Big Brother and wished that he could keep doing it. But like everyone, Tucker too admitted to it ending in a bittersweet way for him. He then pulled out a picture keychain of his dog, showed it to the camera, and said that he was excited to see him and his friends and family.
