During The Real Housewives of Potomac season 9 episode 5, Mia Thorton discussed her relationship with Gordan with her friend Jacqueline Blake. Mia stated that Gordan had been texting her and shared the text chain with her fellow cast member, Jacqueline.
According to Jacqueline, Gordan was having a hard time getting over Mia and felt like she "was using him."
Mia explained that it was not true as he had expressed gratitude to her for helping him:
“But I don’t get that part. Because he has even said, I have messages where he’s like, ‘Thank you so much for being there for me. Thank you so much for taking care of me,’ How am I using him when I’m helping him?”
