Episode 9 of Summer House season 8 spiced up the Bravo environment once again with its twists. The episode, which premiered on April 18, saw West Wilson and Ciara Miller thinking out loud about their plans for navigating their new relationship further.
It also saw some beef taking shape between Paige DeSorbo and Danielle Olivera. While Danielle was reprimanding Paige, she also had a heart-to-heart with Carl Radke about his career.

The season, which started in February, has so far documented Carl and Lindsay's dwindling relationship, which is expected to fall back into place because the half-season promo shows Lindsay trying on a white dress.
It has also captured the budding romance between Ciara and West, and Kyle's concern for Carl's decision to be with Lindsay.
Summer House season 8: Ciara and West answer the important questions
Earlier in episode 9 of Summer House, Ciara announced that she had signed a modeling contract that was going to make her travel internationally, which made West see their current relationship in a different light.
When asked by Lindsay if he would continue to see Ciara after their summer holiday had ended, West said yes at first. However, he turned it into a "maybe we’ll see," after he expressed concern over how her traveling job might impact their relationship.
Danielle ticks off Paige
Danielle straight up questioned Paige's intentions about her future with her current boyfriend Craig Conover. Their Summer House scuffle started with Kyle asking Paige if she ever felt like she was "stringing him [Craig] along". Paige bluntly denied it and clarified her firm intentions to marry him one day, only to be interrupted by Danielle. She said:
"Do you actually think this is your forever guy? Or are you just like this b*dass b*tch … and he’s really good for right now."
Paige vehemently denied it and took to the confessional to shade Danielle. She said that while Danielle held a high moral ground, she ran away when put in front of a mirror. She also claimed to have seen Danielle doing so to every girl she had lived with.
Paige then spoke to Amanda about her altercation with Danielle later in the episode. Narrating the incident, Paige said:
"She [Danielle] kind of, like, tried to grill the f*ck out of me. She was like, 'Craig gives you everything, and you give Craig nothing.'"
Amanda agreed with Danielle being opinionated, while Paige demanded Lindsay to come and get her friend, saying they didn't want her anymore.
Carl opens up to Danielle on Summer House
While Danielle was being dissed, she was also helping a friend open up. While having a little chat in their backyard, Carl confessed to Danielle about his desire to rejoin his friend Kyle's company, Loverboy, again.
He also revealed to her that Kyle wanted him back in his business, and confessed to being hesitant to break the news to Lindsay. Explaining his reasoning, Carl said he didn't know how his fiance would react to it, given her history of cold rivalry with Kyle.
Carl contemplates his career decisions with Lindsay
Gathering courage from Danielle, Carl broke the news to Lindsay. He told her about Kyle's job offer and said that he wanted to look deeper into it.
Lindsay in turn insisted he start earning well for his future children, and their security.
