Survivor season 47 episode 6 premiered on October 24 on CBS and was a merge week where all three of the tribe members came together on one beach and had the opportunity to be part of the merged tribe. Individual immunity was also up for grabs, saving them for the biggest tribal council so far in the season.

Rome Cooney caught the worst end of the merge and was eliminated at the end of Survivor 47 episode 6. He became a target after his castmates discovered that he was whispering conflicting stories to everyone. While he was shocked at the reveal of his elimination, he left gracefully by saying:

"It's all love."

How did Rome Cooney get eliminated in Survivor 47 episode 6?

A boat arrived at the start of Survivor season 47 episode 6, signaling to the contestants that they would be competing for a spot in the merge.

Before the challenge, they were asked to find an advantage hidden in the jungle. Genevieve managed to find the advantage, but its specifics weren't revealed until later.

Planning for the inevitable merger of tribal councils, Rome wanted to stir the pot. He began his scheming and went through the contestants whispering different stories to them.

He claimed that Kyle saw Tiyana as a threat and that he was also poorly speaking about Sue and Caroline. Sol was suspicious of his activities and started to fact-check his stories and planned to send the schemer home.

The merge challenge was divided into two parts. First, the Survivor 47 players were divided into two teams, with the winning group earning a merge meal.

In the second round, the contestants competed for individual immunity from the tribal council.

Rome faced back-to-back losses in the challenges and was at serious risk of being voted out at the tribal council. Despite his efforts to put Sol on edge, the contestants at the merge feast agreed that Rome’s chaotic gameplay was too unpredictable and too risky to keep around, making him their top target.

Rome was confident before the Survivor season 47 episode 6 tribal council and began to rally against Sol openly. Little did he know that the majority of the cast members were targeting him.

Several cast members came prepared with savage one-liners as they cast their votes for Rome at the tribal council. Sam said:

"They say Rome wasn’t built in a day, but your game sure was destroyed in one."

Teeny commented:

“Everybody has finally caught up to the way that I feel about you.”

The amulet holders joined forces to protect Teeny, shifting the target away from her. Out of 12 votes cast, two went against Andy, while the rest were aimed squarely at Rome.
