"Take care of her"— The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star Micah gets emotional over Dave and Chanel's connection

Netflix's popular reality series, The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On returned to screens with a brand new season. Season 3 of the Netflix show introduced a brand new cast of couples hoping to make their relationship work. As per the show's format, it features couples in which one partner has issued their significant other an ultimatum to either get married or break up.

These couples broke up for the duration of the show and formed bonds with one another. After a week of speed dating, each of these 12 individuals had to choose who they wanted to pick as their "trial" partner.

Chanel and Micah entered the show as a couple, however, during The Choice ceremony, the male cast member coupled up with Mariah while the female cast member picked Dave. Micah got emotional seeing Chanel and Dave together. He told the participant to never "have her a**ed out."

"She's really my best friend, so take care of her," he added.

What happened between Dave, Micah, and Chanel during The Choice in The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 2?

In The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 episode 2, titled, The Choice, the cast sat down with hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey for a feast. The hosts asked the participants about how their first week had been and several cast members got emotional.

While speaking about who he formed a connection with, Micah spoke about the time he spent with Mariah. He recalled not knowing how their first date went because he didn't think that The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 cast member would "fall" for someone like him. Micah recalled that as their connection progressed, Mariah was not afraid of challenging him which he liked.

Micah and Mariah chose each other to be in a "trial marriage" together. Chanel opened up about her week and said she learned a lot in the process. She added that in a marriage, she wanted to feel at ease and said that was one of the qualities that drew her to Dave.

Chanel added that Dave was easygoing compared to Micah who was "calculated and planned." She stated Dave seemed like he would be willing to take a "leap of faith."

"You are just an amazing person," she said.

Dave who entered the show with his partner, Vanessa, detailed his first week on The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 and said that he was in a "bad spot" for a few days. He noted that Chanel was "warm" and welcoming and recalled having "great" conversations with the female participant.

While remembering the cocktail party, he said he was having a tough time and that Chanel asked him to smile and praised her "high emotional intelligence." The female cast member said she felt good that Dave felt that "energy" and stated she would always try to be warm and comforting.

When asked by Vanessa Lachey about her choice, Chanel chose Dave. Dave also chose the cast member which earned him a "Damn" by Chanel's original partner, Micah. The male cast member elaborated on his feelings and said that Chanel was his best friend.

"I ain't gonna lie, like, she's my best friend, so don't ever have her a**ed out. Always make sure she's safe. That's the one thing I gotta ask from you, bro," the male The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star said.

He joked that as long as Chanel was safe, Dave should be safe. Sandy praised Micah for showing vulnerability and acknowledged that it was a difficult conversation to have in front of his ex.
