Lori Greiner, who is known for being an investor in the reality show Shark Tank, shared insights on overcoming fear in entrepreneurship. Greiner took to Instagram on December 27, 2024, and expressed that fear is a universal emotion that can often hinder success when it comes to an entrepreneurial journey.
According to the Shark Tank judge, what often holds people back is the fear of taking the initial leap. Greiner emphasized the importance of taking that first step, as it brings individuals closer to their objectives. With each risk taken, people move nearer to realizing their desires and making their aspirations a reality. She said:
"Every time you take a risk, you get closer to your goal. You get closer to having happen what you really want to have happen in your life. Be proud of what you try, versus afraid of what you don't, or ashamed of what you don't. Take that first risk, because taking a risk is the real success in life."
Rather than being fearful or ashamed of what they haven't accomplished, individuals should take pride in their efforts and willingness to try. Greiner encouraged entrepreneurs to focus on their achievements rather than dwelling on their shortcomings. By embracing risk-taking, individuals can truly achieve success in life.

Greiner's fondness for her colleagues comes from the unique bond they share, having navigated the challenges of the show together. They have accumulated countless memories, from humorous moments to emotional experiences, which have strengthened their relationship.
"We look back and we see all these photos of us, and we remember all the things and the good times and the funny times, and we laugh together. We cry together, we fight with each other, we dance together. we tell jokes, we just do it all, just like a normal family," expressed Lori.

Lori Greiner revealed that she would never invest in sports
When asked which type of investment she avoids, Lori Greiner listed the three different types of businesses or products in an Instagram post on December 1. Firstly, the Shark Tank investor revealed that she has no interest in diet aids and weight loss products, as she dislikes making promises that may not be fulfilled, potentially leading to customer disappointment.
Secondly, Greiner is hesitant to invest in ingestible products, as they often make unsubstantiated claims and pose health and safety risks. She prefers to steer clear of such concerns. Lastly, Greiner has no appetite for investing in sports-related ventures.
"Half the time I don't understand certain things. But number two, there's always a loser, and I don't know I would just constantly be feeling bad even though I'd want my team to win," revealed Lori.
She also expressed that she found certain aspects of the industry perplexing, and the competitive nature of sports, where there is always a loser, makes her uncomfortable. Her empathetic nature makes it difficult for her to reconcile the inevitable losses that come with investing in sports teams.
