Rob "Rabbit" Pitts is a former businessman and a car enthusiast. On the show, he shares his expertise in sourcing vehicles and acquiring rusty, undervalued cars. Additionally, he plays a crucial role in the restoration process.

During season 1, he managed to raise sufficient funds through restoration efforts to establish his own store. He also shared during the season that one of his "favorite things to do is talking people into buying something that they don't need."
The car expert died on August 25, 2024, due to stomach cancer. He was able to finish filming for season 2 and it served as a heartfelt tribute to the Tex Mex Motors star.
In a "goodbye" message uploaded on his YouTube channel on August 26, he expressed:
"Don't be sad for me. I accomplished my dream of buying my own store, finishing Season 2 of Netflix and marrying the love of my life."
The late reality star's Instagram boasts over 61K followers. His final post, dated July 27, 2024, was a collaborative post with his Tex Mex Motors Season 2 castmate Wesley Zachary, who wished Rob a happy birthday.

Scooter Wreyton is the Automotive expert of the Tex Mex Motors crew and is a first-rate car scout with tons of contacts. He is often seen joining Rob "Rabbit" Pitts on his hunts, and bringing rusty cars over the Mexican border and back to their garage in El Paso.
Scooter's Instagram account, whose bio only has his name, boasts over 3, 000 followers, as of this writing, and features more than 516 posts. He primarily shares snippets from his various car conventions and fan meets. He is also a dog lover and his pets make occasional appearances on his profile.
In a podcast with Monster Link Marketing, published on September 2, 2024, Scooter revealed that he has held various non-media jobs, such as being a forklift driver, dishwasher, and Walmart salesman. He noted that he never worked in fast food but mentioned having worked at a Chinese restaurant.
In a recent post, uploaded on November 23, Scooter joined Monster Link Marketing's Raul Mendoza to celebrate the premiere of Tex Mex Motors season 2.

Jaime Hjelm is the skilled mechanic of the group. Besides appearing on two seasons of Tex Mex Motors, she was also part of 2020's Bitchin' Boot Camp. The engine and electrical specialist currently runs a female-owned shop (Wicked Wrench Co.) in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Jaime's Instagram profile has over 19K followers, where she showcases the work she's done on various projects. Her bio reads:

Wesley Zachary (@wesleyzachary1)
Wesley Zachary is the master fabricator of the crew. He is an integral part of the restoration process, and is responsible for structural adjustments and creating custom components. The reality star is also the owner of Zachary Customs which offers custom restorations, rust repair, suspensions beside other services.
With more than 2,500 followers as of this article's writing, his Instagram features snippets from the show, alongside photos of the custom restorations on cars.
