Too Hot To Handle season 6 has released the final 3 episodes on August 2, 2024. While Bri and Demari won this season by showing growth and understanding as a couple, Joao and Flavia on the other hand ended up breaking theirs because of differences created with the entry of Jalen.
In episode 9, Joao and Flavia went on a date to discuss Flavia flirting with Jalen. Flavia admitted she was wrong and believed their relationship could work in the real world. Joao agreed but eventually broke up with her after singing a song he wrote about the situation.
At the finale's start, Flavia announced their breakup to the other cast members:
"He pulled out his guitar. And he started playing a song... That was a breakup song," stated Flavia.

Everyone at the round table was shocked and amazed after this revelation. Jalen, who was the reason for the breakup, especially quipped:
"Hold on a second, that's weird," said Jalen.
What happened between Flavia, Joao, and Jalen in Too Hot To Handle season 6?
Episode 8 of Too Hot To Handle season 6 saw two new entrants in the house, Sabrina and Jalen. The pairing of Flavia and Joao had been strong since the beginning of the show and the couple seemed to have taken big strides toward becoming the winner of the Too Hot To Handle moniker and prize money.
Jalen seemed to have disrupted that bonding as Flavia seemed to form some sort of feeling for him.
"Flavia is definitely my type. I know she is with a guy, But I definitely want some of that... With my free pass tonight, I need to show Flavia what she's missing," said Jalen during a confessional.
Before Lana's Candy Land party, Flavia admitted she preferred guys like Jalen and pushed away genuine guys like Joao. At the party, Jalen took Flavia aside to talk in front of Joao, which offended Joao.
"I've just seen Flavia and Jalen walk out on their own. I feel slightly disrespected. I'd expect at least a heads-up," said Joao in a confessional.
The next day in the women-only workshop curated by Brenden Durell in Too Hot To Handle, the female participants took a dip in ice-cold water after which Flavia confessed it was difficult for her to confront her feelings and whenever someone loved her she tended to push them away.
"Oh, my God, I just realized that the bath represents Joao and our situation and that I have to jump in, open up, be vulnerable, and definitely not jump into the next guy," Flavia said.
Despite Flavia admitting her mistakes and feelings for Joao, their relationship was doomed as Joao couldn't get over her interest in another man. After breaking up, Joao sang a song with the lyrics, "Is our time up now?" The cast called Joao a "savage" for ending things over a song, and Bri said she would have reacted differently than Flavia.
"If someone broke up with me over a guitar, I would take and I would throw it right in that fire!" Bri said.
Joao was surprised by the negative reactions of the rest of the participants and confessed he did what felt like the right thing to do given their situation.
