What happened on The Bachelorette season 21 episode 2?
The Bachelorette season 21 episode 2 started with Jenn Tran and her potential 18 love interests on a trip to Melbourne, Australia. Throughout the episode, Jenn takes her time to get to know everyone and tries to spend time with each guy. The first group date included Sam N., Marvin, Brian, Jonathon, Aaron, Grant, Jeremey, and Devin.
On their stroll towards the local market, Devin made attempts at getting one-on-one time with Jenn. His co-stars were offended that Devin was trying to make a lasting impression on The Bachelorette star as much as he could. However, this was a group date, and everyone should have been given a chance to spend time with Jenn equally.
Tran, on the other hand, made sure no one was left out of the group. The group headed towards the comedy club, where the guys roasted Devin on the open mic night. Fans could sense the tension between Devin and Aaron.
When it was time for The Bachelorette star to choose one of the guys from the group on an adventurous date, she chose Marcus. Marcus and Jenn instantly connected on their skydiving date, and it looks like they have made improvements since the first day.
Marcus opened up about his experience in the army and showcased his strength as a vulnerability. The two were able to connect on an emotional level and empathize with each other. Later in the episode, Jenn went on a group date with the remaining cast members: Spencer, Sam M., Hakeem, Thomas N., Jahaan, Dylan, Austin, John M., and Tomas A.
The next date was the Australian wildlife photoshoot, where Jenn tried to see which one of the guys she felt drawn towards. The ABC show's second episode's synopsis further states:
"Kicking things off, Jenn and a group of the men explore Melbourne’s culinary delicacies and stop by a comedy show where they themselves are the punchline. Later, Jenn and her men strike a pose in a photo shoot alongside Australia’s native wildlife before diving into a tense cocktail party.”
Not much happened on the second date, but Jenn ended up choosing Dylan. Bachelor Nation fans thought Jenn had more chemistry with other cast members than Dylan. However, there are a lot more episodes left for fans to guess who will be among the top three or top five.
The Bachelorette season 21 is available exclusively on ABC. Episode three will be released on July 22, 2024.
