The Bachelorette season 21 premiered on July 8 on ABC. It follows the franchise's first Asian American Jenn Tran's journey to find love. Episode 5 aired on August 5, 2024, with Tran moving one step forward to choosing the love of her life and her future fiancé.
Initially, 25 guys were competing on the show, after the fifth week, 16 contestants were eliminated. The remaining contestants are Devin, Grant, Jeremy, John, Jonathon, Marcus, Sam M., Spencer, and Thomas N.
The show synopsis reads as the following:
"In her quest to find true love, a single woman gets a chance to date various men over a period of several weeks and decide whom she will marry."

1) Brendan
The Bachelorette season 21 contestant is a 30-year-old Real Estate Broker from Vancouver, British Columbia. He joined the show to find a wife, a loving partner that was missing in his life. Unfortunately, his journey came to an end in week 1.
2) Brett
The 28-year-old was hoping to find love just like his parents did on the ABC show. Despite having "great energy and strong confidence" he was unable to impress this season's main lead, Jenn Tran.
3) Dakota
The Arizona resident was seeking a soulmate and was excited to meet Jenn. Many viewers thought they had no chemistry and Jenn was drawn more toward other cast members, hence Dakota was also sent home in week 1.
4) Kevin
The fourth elimination on The Bachelorette season 21 was of Kevin who is a Financial Analyst from Denver. Kevin thought it was the right time to settle down and was hoping Jenn was the woman of his dreams. He didn't get much screen time and was eliminated in week 1 as well.
5) Matt
Matt is a 27-year-old Insurance Executive from Atlanta. He had an optimistic approach in the game but he couldn't make a lasting impression. Hence he was eliminated in week 1. The cast member was "looking for a love story" similar to his parents' one.
6) Moze
In one of the episodes, the 25-year-old Algebra teacher admitted to ghosting people in relationships which Jenn didn't like. He had been in a long-term relationship before and was looking for a lasting connection on the show. Unfortunately, he was sent home.
7) Brian
The Bachelorette season 21 cast member is a resident of Boynton Beach, Florida where he works as an Aesthetics Consultant. The 33-year-old wanted to settle down and make a strong connection with Jenn. He was one of the contestants to be sent home in week 2.
8) Jahaan
Jahaan exited the show in week 2 as well, he was one of the fan-favorite cast members. As a start-up founder, his name has appeared in Forbes 30 Under 30. alongside his successful career, he wanted to start a family of his own that's why he joined the show to shoot his shot.
9) Marvin
Marvin departed The Bachelorette season 21 and went home in week 2 after his hopes of potentially ending up with Jenn were crushed. As each episode airs, more people get eliminated with Jenn trying to shortlist her love interests to get engaged to one of them.
10) Ricky
The 28-year-old Pharmaceutical Representative from Miami was looking for a serious relationship on the show. As per his ABC bio, Ricky was done with the "superficial dating scene" and wanted emotional depth in a partner. He couldn't stay longer on the show and his journey ended soon.
11) Aaron
Aaron was one of the two cast members on The Bachelorette season 21 who self-eliminated. The reason behind him choosing to leave was the fighter pilot training dates clashing with the filming schedule. Jenn encouraged him to go after his dreams. Before going home, Aaron warned Tran about contestants being on the show for the "wrong reasons."
12) Hakeem
The Bachelorette season 21 contestant was excited to introduce Jenn to his Jamaican family. They both had similar family values and backgrounds in terms of having a strong cultural impact on their personalities. However, Hakeem was sent home in week 3.

The 27-year-old Physiotherapist from Toronto joined the show to seek a future wife. Unfortunately, he couldn't stand out amongst the other guys and was eliminated from season 21 in week 3 alongside his fellow cast member Hakeem.
14) Sam N.
The 25-year-old Entrepreneur from California gave the wrong impression to Jenn when he tried to interrupt her time with other guys during the group date. Jenn told Sam N. that they might not be right for each other, the California resident was upset that he was eliminated this early and was planning on staying on the show till the end.
15) Austin
Austin was the second contestant who decided to leave the show by self-eliminating. He didn't get a chance to have a one-on-one date with Jenn and told her there were other options she had. Jenn respected his decision and gave him a warm goodbye.
16) Dylan
Dylan, the 24-year-old medical student from California, was sent home for the fifth week of elimination. He was looking for a partner to settle down with and work towards building a family. However, Jenn didn't feel too connected with him.
