After The Bachelor became quite popular with its debut season in 2002, a spinoff show, The Bachelorette, was introduced, which premiered in 2003. For each season, the star of The Bachelorette went on a journey to find a suitable partner.
The Bachelorette’s debut season featured Trista Rehn as the star. Because of its popularity, the show continued for 20 more seasons with a different bachelorette each time. ABC’s The Bachelorette season 21 premiered on July 8, 2024, featuring Jenn Tran as the season's star.
However, there have been a few instances where more than one bachelorette has been featured on the show, such as in 2021, when Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia were the leads on the show’s 19th season.
