What happened during The Boyfriend episode 10? Recap explored

The tenth episode began with three days remaining until the end of the show. In the morning, they received the work shift message:

"Good morning. There are only three days left on this journey. Kazuto will be in charge of the shift today. Kazuto, please choose one person you would like to work with."

Kazuto chose Alan to go on a work shift with him. Ryota, who liked Kazuto, made lunch and gave them. Kazuto and Alan had a great shift together. By the end of their shift, they went to a restaurant where Kazuto shared his feelings with Alan:

"There’s something I want to tell you. There are some things I’d like to say. I feel like I’ve grown in so many areas of my life because I’ve met you. I’ve never really been comfortable putting my feelings into words and expressing myself, so, you know, this is all new for me, and it’s been challenging."

The message stated that it was the last day of the shift, with Shun in charge. He chose Dai for the shift. As they went on their shift, the rest of the housemates came outside to see them off to the last shift of the show.

While they were on the shift, Shun shared with Dai how he (Shun) has become more inclusive. Meanwhile, back in the Green Room, the rest of the housemates thought of surprising Dai and Shun with bento cake and more and ended up going there.

Soon, the iPad rang with a new message to “dress up” and go out to dinner to celebrate their last evening together. They all returned to the Green Room and suited up for the evening. They had a great time together and enjoyed the dinner.

Everyone was emotional and nervous about leaving the show and being separated from the rest of the group. It was because they all felt safe around each other as they formed deeper bonds. While packing their stuff, they cleaned the house and the coffee truck before leaving.

Taeheon was the first one to leave. He thanked everyone and shared how he wanted to come out to his parents, so he joined the show. His words made everyone cry.

The next one to leave was Ikuo. He shared with everyone:

"This project has definitely changed my outlook for the future. Before I came here, I wasn’t as present in my life. There was a part of me that I hadn’t found yet. I think being with everyone at the house has reminded me to prioritize my happiness and take actions that will lead me towards living my best life."

Ryoto wanted to talk to Kazuto before he left, so they went outside for a private conversation one last time. Ryoto shared how he still liked him. Kazuto thanked him but explained that he couldn’t return his feelings because “that’s just how he felt.”

Before leaving the show and Green Room, Shun expressed his desire to talk with Dai. Both of them said goodbye to Dai and Shun and left the house. They walked to the seaside and sat there for the conversation.

Shun, who couldn’t share his feelings easily with anyone, shared a lot with Shun and told him how he felt. His conversation ended with, “I love you,” to which Dai’s response was:

"Shun, I love you, too. I do," and they kissed.

The last ones to leave the house were Alan and Kazuto. They also had a long conversation about how they felt about each other. They clicked pictures from both sides, and Alan asked Kazuto to keep what (Alan) clicked. He (Alan) kept the one that Kazuto clicked. They both left the Green Room together, holding hands.
