The Braxtons released its season finale, the eighth episode of the revival season, on September 27, 2024, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. This show continues Braxton Family Values and features Toni Braxton alongside her sisters Towanda, Trina, and Tamar. The cast addressed the passing of Traci Braxton, who died from esophageal cancer at age 50. Despite their tragic loss, the family faced ongoing conflicts, with Tamar expressing frustration about receiving the news after everyone else.
Before the finale, Towanda had been struggling with her issues regarding marriage as her long-term boyfriend, Sean Hall was not proposing to her. Toni was also seen preparing for her debut with comedian Cedric The Entertainer for their Love And Laughter tour regardless of her health concerns.

Toni announced that her show would debut at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas for a 20-week run. After recovering from bronchitis, she expressed her determination to show that she was back and better than ever. Trina invited Evelyn to her cooking show and shared that counseling helped her overcome her drinking addiction.
Towanda appeared on Ryan Cameron's radio show to promote her upcoming activities. She talked about choosing to go bald to support Traci during her cancer journey and to raise awareness about her alopecia. Towanda also mentioned that she would be launching a skincare line for people with alopecia.
Tamar visited Taz Singh, a spiritual advisor and a healer, to get some closure concerning Traci's passing. As Trina mentioned previously, Traci and Tamar had a lot of disagreements and when Taz connected with Traci spiritually, she revealed that Traci wanted to say "I'm sorry" to Tamar.
"She says, 'Before I passed, I did a lot of things that I wish I could do differently. I love each and every one of you. Just remember you are my baby. And what do we do when we have a baby? We protect you and that's what I did with you,'" said Taz.
This left Tamar in tears on The Braxtons as she expressed her love for Traci and wished for another chance to be a good sister to Traci. She also revealed that she had some hard conversations with Traci on her deathbed which were overdue. Tamar thanked Taz as she bid farewell to her and showed her gratitude for getting a chance at some closure.
Trina and Tamar attended Toni's opening night show, where Toni even tried telling jokes with Cedric. Despite challenges, Toni performed for a full house and later celebrated with her crew and sisters. The next day, Evelyn and Towanda joined the ladies, while Tamar left to take care of her child. Trina revealed that she and Towanda would be part of Toni's show.
Trina revealed that she got no directions about what to do on stage. Cedric called the ladies on stage and they sang The Toiletpaper Song. Cedric went to the audience and called over Towanda's boyfriend Sean on stage to join them. Sean was presented with the mic and took the opportunity to go down his knees and propose to Towanda.
