Love Island USA host Ariana Madix has been known for her appearance on Vanderpump Rules. Bravo fans were excited to see her as the host of Love Island. Now that season 6 of Love Island USA has premiered, Madix has opened up about her experience.

Whether it's her growing fandom or friendship with the cast, Ariana shared what it has been like to enter another sector of reality TV. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on June 27, 2024, Ariana shared her experience hosting the hit dating show.

When she was asked if her presence led to season 6's popularity, Madix replied that the cast was the reason. She said:

"I would love to feel that way, but I think that it's this cast. The cast is absolutely insane. ... From the OGs to the bombshells, everybody's just filling a space that needs to be filled, and make it just the perfect combination of what makes Love Island, Love Island."

As per Ariana's official Bravo bio, after going through a public breakup, she ventured into different fields. First, Ariana kickstarted her hosting career with Love Island USA, and then she appeared on Dancing with the Stars while starting a sandwich shop, Something About Her. Madix's bio states:

"While working to open the doors to her and Katie’s sandwich shop, Something About Her, Ariana is embracing the countless opportunities that have come her way – from a stint on “Dancing with the Stars” to a new cocktail book."

Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix said she was always a Love Island USA fan, so it was a dream come true for her to take over the host role. In her interview, Madix said that if she could watch the cast members for 24 hours, she would "never leave her room."

She also shared that her favorite moment was from episode six, in which all islanders had an "underwear party." Madix also recalled the Rob-Leah-Andrea drama, after which Rob decided to leave the villa with Andrea. However, through Aaron Evans' convincing, Rob decided to stay back and play in the game. Andrea was eliminated and sent home.

Madix jokingly said that she was rooting for the "bromance" between Aaron and Rob. She said:

"It has not been the same since. I think that was my favorite moment, 'cause it was fun. No one was going home, and it just it set everything off. Rob and Aaron, I think they, literally, are the strongest couple of the season right now."

The Love Island USA host also opened up about how she tackles online hate. In her interview, Madix said that she was too focused on putting effort into her career and that there was no room for distractions in her life at the moment. She revealed that she usually ignores the hateful comments, as the people behind keyboards want to seek attention, which she doesn't want to give them.
