The Circle season 7 episode 12 recap: One player becomes the secret super influencer while the cast participates in a unique award ceremony

The Circle season 7 is close to its end and the winner will be revealed in the finale episode on October 2. The reality show is a game of social media prowess and strategy. Each contestant had to set up a profile that would help them win the show. They could either play as themselves or create a profile of a completely different person.

The Circle season 7 episode 12 was the last episode before the finale and the contestants were treated to their final game. The players voted for different award categories and had the final chance to cement their stand before the Secret Super Influencer rankings.

The player who becomes the Secret Super Influencer will be given the power to anonymously eliminate any contestant they wish. Madelyn received that top spot in the rankings and got the Influencer powers. Titled It's Giving Season the synopsis for the episode reads:

"Players rush to secure alliances before the final ratings. An awards game offers one last chance to throw shade. The secret super influencer is named."

Contestants plan to be the secret super influencer

The Circle season 7 episode 12 picked up where the last episode left off. All the players were desperate to be ranked number one in the upcoming rankings. They knew what powers the 'secret super influencer' held and did not want to miss out on it. Everyone had their own strategies in place and wanted to be on everyone's good side.

The first one to take the initiative was Jadejha. She invited her adversary Kevin to clear things out between the two and be on his good side. Jadejha felt a bit safe after their conversation because he told her that they were good. However, Kevin planned to play her and made it sound like he had her back.

Tierra knew Gianna was one of the strongest players in the game and gaining her confidence would save her from the next blocking. She invited the three-time influencer to a private chat and asked her about her stance in the game.

Tierra asked Gianna about Rachel's loyalty and shared that Jadejha had her back. Gianna responded that Rachel was one of her top alliances and they were strong together. Gianna was playing her and after their chat with Tierra, the twins said:

"At this point, six people left, one influencer makes the last decision who gets blocked. We're gonna tell everybody what they wanna hear"

It's Giving Awards challenge

Contestants were introduced to their last game of the season in episode 12 of The Circle season 7. Players had the last chance to make an impact before their upcoming blocking. Titled It's Giving Awards, host Michelle Buteau explained:

"In 'It's Giving Awards', they'll be given a number of categories ...Each player will then anonymously vote for who they think should win the category. The Circle will then reveal the results for all to see, judge, and fight over."

The award for the 'Giving Lucky' category went to Kevin. The next category was for the person who was the most genuine in the game, and the award went to Gianna. The award for the 'Giving Loyal' category went to Gianna and Rachel.

Gianna received another award in the 'Giving Manipulator' category, along with Jadejha. Finally, the award for the 'Giving Circle Winner' category went to Rachel.

Results for the Secret Super Influencer

At the end of The Circle season 7 episode 11 contestants were informed that the next rankings would result in only one influencer, a secret super influencer. The secret super influencer had the power to solely block any contestant they wanted and their name would not be revealed to anyone.

Contestants submitted their ratings at the end of episode 12 and were told that the rankings wouldn't be released publically. The contestants were privately informed if they were the Secret Super Influencer or not. The results were in and Madelyn received the power to anonymously eliminate anyone she wished.

Madelyn was told to pick contestants and block them face-to-face. The rest of the contestants were on the edge of their seats and the episode The Circle season 7 episode 12 ended on a cliffhanger.
