The Circle season 7 episode 4: Recap explored

The Circle season 7 episode 4 titled Press to Impress was released on Netflix on September 11, 2024. In this social media competition, contestants put their best foot forward to win for the grand prize of $100,000 and used strategy to form alliances in order to catch the catfish or become the top influencer.

Episode 4 focused on the alliances formed in the first three episodes as one of the players got stabbed in the back and was sent home. Other cast members were now alert about who to trust in this social media game.

Top influencer Gianna used her power to control Kevin's decision, which got him in trouble with his untrustworthy reputation. Meanwhile, Garret seemed confused after he was invited to two separate group alliance chats.

The episode 4 synopsis mentioned how the secret alliance was "exposed" through the blocked player. It further read:

"A departing player's final message rattles the chat and exposes hidden alliances. Some players bond over family ties as others forge new allies."

Savannah was sent home in The Circle season 7 episode 4

In episode 4 of The Circle season 7, Savannah was shocked to find out that she was being sent home. Previously, Savannah and Kevin had bonded with one another, the Texas native considered him her Circle husband as she had a crush on him.

Due to her alliance with Kevin, Savannah thought her journey on the show was not going to end so soon. But catfish Gianna, played by twins Nicky and Jojo, used her top influence power to send Savannah home. Gianna's text read:

"Loyalty means everything to me, my word is my bond. I never had an alliance with Savannah, so it wasn’t me."

Gianna also tried to paint Kevin in a bad light and made his other alliances worry that he was not to be trusted in the game.

After Savanah went home, a heated conversation in The Circle chat led to the formation of new alliances. Madelyn checked up on Kevin and the two bonded over their love for their families. Madelyn called Kevin Andy's best man and proposed a trio alliance, she implied not siding with Gianna and Rachel.

According to Kevin, this was a good sign as in this critical moment he had to change his image and focus on getting more people on his side.

On the other hand, Garret was invited to a group chat with Rachel and Gianna. He wanted to connect with both of them and become a part of the girl gang until Kevin invited him to form an alliance as well. The Circle player left abruptly which made him nervous and added a hint of doubt in twins Nicky and Jojo's (Gianna) minds. They thought Garret leaving early all of a sudden could "potentially" be a red flag.

"Yeah, that was a little weird that he did leave right? Maybe he wanted to keep it short and sweet."
