The Circle season 7, is a social experiment and a competition game, where players are put in an apartment, away from the real world, to navigate their way, but only with the help of their social media game and strategies. The players participate as themselves or choose to catfish other players. The Netflix original premiered on September 11, 2024, and released its first four episodes.

Episodes 5 to 8 have been released on Netflix this Wednesday, September 18. A new player entered the show in episode 5, Antonia, disguising himself as his best friend, Tierra.

In episode 7, audiences witnessed another blocking of the show, Heather, who was disguised as Andy. Episode 8 opened with a revelation of the rating list for this episode, and the narrator calls it 'ratings like no other'.

The rating list in episode 8 was brought with a twist, and the disruptor was awarded with exceptional power too. Later in episode 8, two influencers nudged each other to decide the next blocking of the game. The synopsis of episode 8, The Circle reads:

"One player scores a major edge from a game-changing twist. Then, a drawing challenge leaves some sketched out before an intense blocking."

The Circle season 7 episode 8: A rundown of all the twists and turns

Episode 8 of The Circle season 7 was the last episode of the second batch that Netflix dropped on September 18. The episode was full of new twists and turns that made the players go through some edgy decisions. The episode started with the narrator announcing the rating list for the episode. Out of 8 players, the one to top the list will become the Influencer.

Episode 8's rating list was different than the ones that audiences had witnessed earlier in The Circle, where the top two players of the rating list became the two influencers. This time, the game notched itself one point up by putting the charge of choosing the second influence in the hands of the one, who became the disruptor.

As the episode opened, Darian, who was chosen as the disruptor at the end of episode 7, was given the power to choose the second influencer. The very next moment after this, the players were presented with the rating list.

Gianna (Nicky and Jojo) was at the top of the list and became the first influencer automatically. Darian, who was also the disruptor stood last, at the eighth position.

The players started planning their strategies after their ratings. The circle opened for the group chat. The group chat got 'messy' as Madelyn and Darian got into a blip. Jadejha backed Darian in the chat, while Rachel took a shot at him by calling him 'fake'.

Gianna (Nicky and Jojo) did not like Rachel's move as Darian was his potential ally. Late in the episode, Darian and Kevin got into a private chat, where Kevin pretended that he was on Darian's side, but he was inclined toward Madelyn.

The players were put through a painting game, where they had to paint a G.O.A.T picture of another contestant, in their version and upload it for all the players to see. The paintings were anonymous but they surely stirred the pot.

In the end, Darian had to choose someone as the second influencer, and his identity would not be disclosed as the disruptor. He was torn between Jadejha and Kevin.

Darian wanted to choose someone who would take his side, and save him from blocking. He decided to go with his bro' Kevin as the second influencer. The episode ended with Gianna and Kevin arguing once more, sitting in their Influencer's chair to decide who would be blocked in the coming episode.
