In The Circle season 7, a new "disruptor mode" shakes up the game. Contestants must quickly claim this power, which can either help secure their spot or put them at risk. This adds to the competition, where players aim to win the $100,000 prize by playing as themselves or as a catfish.
On The Circle season 7 episode 4, Rachel, Madelyn, Andy, and Darian selected the disruptor mode and took the risk of not knowing what might come their way. This time two contestants Rachel and Madelyn were quick enough to be given the disruptor title. With the disruptor mode, they were asked to switch profiles "until the next blocking."

Rachel and Madelyn were the disruptors on The Circle season 7 episode 4
On The Circle season 7 episode 4, Madelyn took the risk and thought that disruptor mode might help achieve her main target which was to build more alliances. She thought that being a disruptor might bring an advantage to her, Madelyn told the cameras:
"I don't wanna just sit back and be lame and not take any risk, because it could be good."
Later in the episode when it was revealed that Madelyn had to play as Rachel, she was upset. According to the 25-year-old, being a catfish was a challenging task which is why she decided to play as herself in the game. Another thing that was hard for her in the game as a disruptor was that she didn't know who Rachel was as a person. Madelyn regretted her decision and called it a "terrible risk."
"I don't wanna be Rachel. Rachel seems boring. I know nothing about Rachel. there's a reason why I didn't play as a catfish. I'm bad at this stuff. This was a terrible risk that I took. I regret it. It was going well playing as myself!" she said.
Meanwhile, Catfish Rachel played by Debi was unsure how she would interact with Madelyn's "circle husband" and be a "hot girl." This was a difficult task for both The Circle cast members.
"I have to be Madelyn and not get blocked," Rachel said.
The upcoming episodes will reveal whether the two will team up and form an alliance to use their power cleverly or will they continue their individual game. The disruptor mode is an interesting addition to the show format which might directly affect who takes control over the game.
