ABC launched The Golden Bachelorette following the success of The Golden Bachelor. The show premiered on September 18, 2024, with Joan Vassos, a 61-year-old who previously appeared on The Golden Bachelor but left due to a family emergency, as the bachelorette. Episode 8 aired on November 6, and the finale is set for next week.

Episode 8 of The Golden Bachelorette saw host Jesse Palmer welcome back CK, Bob, Gregg, Christopher, Kim, Michael, Dan, Jack, Jordan, Gary, Keith, Jonathan, Pascal, Mark, and Charles L. The men reunited to talk about their journey on the show a week before the finale as Michael revealed his cancer diagnosis to the public.

"Fifteen men reunite with Joan and each other for the first time during a night of "Bachelorette" firsts; an exclusive look at the shocking season finale is revealed."

What happened in The Golden Bachelorette episode 8?

In The Golden Bachelorette's Men Tell All reunion, contestants shared laughs and heartfelt reflections. Charles L. expressed gratitude for the experience, and host Jesse Palmer recalled the emotional first night with video messages from the men’s families. Christopher joked about shared living challenges like snoring and bunk beds, while Gregg revealed his journey with sleep apnea, and Pascal humorously described the room "vibrations" caused by Gregg’s snoring.

The conversation turned to the kickball date on The Golden Bachelorette, where Kim revealed a separated shoulder, and Charles L. showcased his optimistic outlook, stating that "sometimes no experience is the best experience." Jesse teased the infamous Chippendales date, and Jonathan clarified his prior experience, which sparked laughter among the set.

Michael courageously shared his cancer diagnosis, received just before joining the show. Hesitant at first to enter the show, his kids encouraged him to participate, and he expressed gratitude to Joan and the group for their support. ABC matched the donation raised during the Chippendales date to a charitable program called Stand Up 2 Cancer.

The men praised their bonding experience, with Gregg appreciating the intelligent, funny, and handsome friends he made in the reality show. Dan reflected on the emotional goodbye, while Keith announced plans for future trips together. Jesse highlighted the relatively drama-free season, except for "burger gate" between Christopher and Jack.

Jack made burgers for the studio audience trying to prove his cooking skills. Later, Jonathan took the hot seat, recapping his incredible journey. He credited Joan for validating him and forming meaningful friendships, particularly with Mark. The latter left a couple of Post-It notes in his coffee cup.

"Jonathan, just in case I don't get to stay, I am humbled to have met you. I've enjoyed this time shared. Place this sticky note on your mirror to remind yourself you're a fantastic human being," wrote Mark.

Mark soon followed, discussing his emotional connection with Joan and the hummingbird moment that brought him comfort. His kids and soon-to-be son-in-law Joey Graziadei praised his vulnerability.

Fan favorite Charles L. charmed the audience, showcasing his newfound confidence. Charles thanked his daughter for encouraging him to move forward and praised Joan for her empathy. Pascal reflected on his emotional departure, acknowledging his guardedness. His son Maxim praised his dad's vulnerability.

Joan joined the Men Tell All reunion, bonding with the contestants and expressing gratitude for their efforts. Jonathan shared that he’s now dating someone, and Pascal expressed his admiration for Joan.
