The Golden Bachelorette episode 2 recap
18 men were still in the show after episode 1 elimination and the men celebrated their survival at the start of The Golden Bachelorette episode 2. The episode began with Joan's first group date and it included Jonathan, Charles L., Gary, Bob, Mark, Guy, Jordan, and Keith. The theme of the date was 80s prom and was filled with colorful suits and ruffles.
Joan arrived in a white limo and hoped that the prom date would bring back her teenage memories. The Golden Bachelorette cast had a fun evening at the group date and Joan crowned Jonathan as the Prom King.
This was followed by the season’s first one-on-one date and it went to Chock. Chock and Joan spent their one-on-one date at Disneyland and explored various rides at the theme park. While on the date the couple imagined returning to the place along with their grandchildren.
The pair went for dinner at 21 Royal and Chock opened up about his past relationship and the heartbreak of losing his second wife Kathy. He told Joan that she reminded him of his second wife. The dale ended in front of Disneyland fireworks where the couple shared a kiss and Joan handed Chock a date rose.
The final group date included Pascal, Kim, Christopher, Dan, Charles K., Gil, Gregg, Michael, and Jack and it featured a Golden Talent Showcase. The talented showcase allowed the men to impress Joan and win a private dinner date with The Golden Bachelorette. Dan was able to charm Joan with his ribbon dance and secured the one-on-one dinner date.
The Golden Bachelorette episodes air every Wednesday on ABC.
